Is there a correct way of running 2 EVE clients simultaneously. What i did so far has been to install one client at c:\program files\CCP1\EVE and the other one in c:\program files\ccp2\eve. Is this the correct way or do someone has another way ?

Why i am doing this is because i am trying to avoid my 2 clients mix up cache and settings.

If i am completely wrong about this, can someone then please educate me :)

I run two clients from the same install, yet to counter this cache problem, I set mine to 'off' in both accounts.
See, mebbe its just me, but the cache might be character specific. So what loads for one will not load for the other. Turning them both off should stabilise your client. There is no need to install another client as far as I can see apart from SiSi Server.

Saying that, I did install another client to a seperate HD to run a temp third client. I guess it mostly depends if your Hardware.
My HD runs at 7400 RPM and handles smoothly, and the GFX card is a 8800. That might be a factor for me...so its still open.

Doing the same, one client as c:\program files(x86)\CCP\EVE1 and the other as EVE2, no mixup between settings and cache as far as I can tell.
