Greetings Pilots.

I would like all of you to know that barely an hour ago, Megan Maynard has betrayed the 17th Minmatar Tactical Wing, and most important the Minmatar Republic, stealing all of the corporation's assets, ISK, and the reimbursement fund and loot that benefitted all of the militia. Even took the t1 frigs. This is a hard blow for the 17th, which was barely in its infancy. The incident however, has only made our resolution stronger. Well be up and running soon enough, perhaps under a new name, but always under the Minmatar banner.

I have no doubt that the pilots of 17th can persevere in adversity that, in the scope of things, is really trivial. Best of luck as you rebuild stronger and this much wiser.

*Eran Mintor's face appears on the video screen. He's sitting at his desk, basked in darkness. Only the light from the video monitor infront of him illuminates the features of his face. A sparkle can be seen on his cheek, what looks to be perhaps a tear, but is unclear. His face is rigid, and his jaw is clenched.*

What happened today was the act of a corrupt individual who put themselves before her tribesmen and her nation. Her selfishness is a lesson for all to learn from. She is not alone in her betrayal to her people, but I digress.

The last 72 hours has been a very stressful and difficult time for members of the militia. Megan Maynard is the metaphorical "icing on the cake".

We are back to having nothing; nothing but the blood in our veins and the will that drives us on. We have decided to stay in the fight, no matter what circumstances and obstacles block our path; we have bigger obligations than ourselves. Many may look at us and see petty and broke warriors, but I see dangerous men who have only intensified their resolve, anger, and determination to win this war against those who would seek to enslave us and further destroy what we have built for ourselves as a people.

It is without a doubt that Megan Maynard will be hiding her face from now on. She was able to take advantage of the trust Neu, myself, and the rest of the 17th had in her. She has been black-listed from the militia due to her betrayal; we are most enraged.

Unforatunatly for the Amarr, this coward has decided to hide in the Curse region for now. This means they will have to face the blunt of our anger.

Someday we will get our revenge, and Megan's corpse will be the banner for our tribesmen. A testament to the fate that those like her will face.

I think CVA (Amarr Empire) paid Megan Maynard very well for this back-stabbing move!

The 17th Minmatar Tactical Wing should start the attack ASAP on the CVA alliance!!

Megan Mynard can be found in the Curse/Providence regions!! I will take payment for more information on Megan's current escape location!

I can't believe what I read here. I have been fighting with Megan side by side, fighting off the Evil Empire, downing their fleets and freeing the conquered systems.

The 17th are standing like no other together in this fight and some cheap Amarr money shall be able to betray all of this?

I hope this is nothing but a big misunderstanding.

And I just hope the Amarr are not fighting this way cause I thought even below their wrong cause they were fighting with honour. But to fight like this is a fight noone will be willing to join anymore on their side cause it is dishonouring to fight with people like that.

Long live the 17th! Long live Mitar!

*Inara flips on her feed while resting in her over stuffed couch. A little girl can be seen reading in the background and a slave is at Inara's feet working the day's stress out.*

It seems Pilot Maynard pulled the wool over your eyes... I understand the "devastation" this can cause a fledgling corporation (I have witnessed such tactics first hand), but I would be cautious about making accusations without verification. It is possible this is a misunderstanding in the paperwork. I wouldn't be surprised if something as complex as logistics would befuddle the mind of someone flying for the Matari Militia.

That said, I am curious what the rough ISK amount lost was. *reaches for a glass and raises it* Should it prove she managed to kick the dirtiest nation in the knee, I propose a toast in her honor.

And to Pilot Maynard, should you ever need a place to rest there is a room reserved for you planetside, and I will make sure a grand feast is held (given proper notice of course) in your honor... This is assuming you really have dealt them this blow, if not, well I look forward to introducing the hull of your ship to my missiles just as much as the next traveler.

*Comm quickly reactivates*

Well, it seems that during the time I was recording my previous statements these events were proven. My offer still stands, my chef makes a wonderful chocolate cake, it's sinfully rich and delicious. Just let me know when you would like to stop by.

A new pod pilot comes on to Galnet and complains about having corp assets stolen. Right afterwards they accuse CVA of plotting this?

Not buying.

I am sad.

Betrayal is a grave sin. It seems obvious traitor Maynard does not know of or believe in the punishment that now awaits her in the afterlife.

This is why slavery exists. Slavery exists to teach lost and immoral persons like traitor Maynard proper values. Yes, such immoral persons need to be restricted, in extreme cases with drugs like Vitoc, to get them to listen to reason, to have them open their ears to the word of God.

Pilots of the 17th, my children, you have just had a harsh lesson, and I feel for you. Don't let traitor Maynards action corrupt or cause you to turn against each other further. Don't descend deeper into the pit of sin yourself.

Please consider to return home to the loving embrace of your spiritual parents. Return home and help us guide you. Return home and let us teach you what is right. Surrender, return home and we can try and prevent such things. Together.

First: shut up, Merdaneth. Considering a thousand years of slavery did not stop us from betraying our supposed masters and the Evil God, your plan has some very obvious flaws.

Neu, be in touch. I got stuff to say and things to offer but not in public. You'll rise above it.

Do not flame me if I suck horribly at it......

*Incoming transmission from an unidentified object.
Only known information is the ship is of a belliciose hull.
Unsure of whether its a Huginn or Rapier, the transmission continues.*

Many crewmen can be seen walking to various places on the very dark command bridge. The lights are dimmed as they usually are. A deep voice begins to speak.*

I have seen both sides of the war, and have watched both sides fight. I have fought along my brothers in the Minmatar Militia against the Amarr empire and I have seen The Gallente Federation fight against the Caldari State.
I have ventured deep into amarr territory and as far out as Providence, CVA held terriotry.

I am usually uncaring in the regards of others losses as I don't expect anyone to care about my ship or crew, other than me.
This however has caught my attention.
Within 20 Standard days, 17th Minmatar Tactical Wing will be seeing aid in combat as well as ISK donations/ loot donations from Shadow. corp.

I thank you all for your support. However, please refrain from making any donations to the 17th at the moment, as I've had some offers already. I've been locked out of the CEO position. The Corporation will be re-baptized. An Announcement shall be made before 24 Hours have gone by.

The Amarr have made a mistake here. The will and spirit to fight their oppression cannot be measured in ships or ISK but in our hearts. This betrayla does not dimish the desire of the Minmatar to be free, it ignites it even more. History shows that ever time the Amarr have thought they had beaten us down we arose and beat them back. Tbhis is just going to be another of those times, now is the time for yet another moment in history when the Minmatar people rise and salp back the Amarr once again showing that they cannot hold us down.

Setbacks do not mean you stop, setbacks mean you take a larger step forward the next time.

ON behalf of my corp and allies, I am saddened to hear of what appears to have transpired.
For too long now, we have been stable and a unifying force to be reckoned with, in contrast to our enemies who untill recently have been devided.

This stability, this unity and common purpose itself, a beacon of hope and light in a dark age has become a target. And struck the enemy has, causing weak fractures and devisions within ourselves.

Well, beware for your underhand tactics have backfired, for this now highlights the extent on which we must fight. The flaws highlighted will be corrected
Our ties will grow stronger
Our warriors will grow hardier
And our allies more determined.

Beware Amarr, you have poked the nest one more time, Let us hope you can deal with the swarm that follows!

Kimochi opens a live feed window. She is sitting in a large bubbling hot tub on a spacious balcony that appears to be overlooking the main entertainment concourse of a space station.

A holographic GalNet screen is being projected slightly to the right of her. She seems very amused.

Well boys and girls, this is precisely why trust is the most precious resource in the universe and should only be handed out sparingly to those closest to you.

I've never seen a Brutor cry before... I suppose physical possessions are more important to them than they would have the rest of us believe. I'm afraid I'm not known for my ability to offer pity to the unfortunate... Just pray, 17th, that you learn from your mistakes and are more careful in the future. Chin up though, at least now you'll fully appreciate what little you have left!

She raises a flute of champagne and winks to the camera.

She takes a sip of the liquid, and the feed cuts out.

With all due respect Kimochi, we don't pray.

Its not the material assets that hurt. Its the betrayal. I trusted Megan, we all did. I even defended her. Well, I was naive. No more. In one thing you're right, this will only harden us and our resolve.

No, Elsebeth, it just shows that your filthy sub-human race needs to be enslaved for a much longer period of time before they reach Enlightenment. Us Amarr are a very patient people. Perhaps 2 or 3 thousand years would suffice?

You are not able to protect your assets.

You are not able to implement effective security measures.

How you expect to be able to protect the self-proclaimed-republic interests?

How you expect to be effective on the field?

Close your doors, disband and surender. Renounce to your crimes.

There are a few (gladly not that many) mercyfull institutions that could welcome you.

I'm sure SPCS would find a "special" program for your members.
