Ginger, I would like you to get a verification on that from whoever set them up like that. Although we cannot see every single ship lined up outside, I am guessing that each "block" is similar to the ones we CAN count. And that is

1 Titan
4 Motherships
200 Battleships
40 Battlecruisers

That's 245 per block. 28 blocks x 245 = 6860, plus the Ceremonial and Personal guards lined up in front...

Seeing as this is Amarr Certified News, can we really be sure the fleet isn't, erm, artificially supplemented?

So what are the chances of an Amarr Empress hooking up with a scruffy Caldari scoundrel?

(I have spiced wine and 'interesting' holo-reels if that sways her decision.)

I counted 24. There seemed to be 4 in each 'line' and from what I could see maybe 6 'lines' of Titans. If not more. 24+ Titans. Scary.

Wow, what beautiful irony: "EVE online: the universe is yours".

Remind me again where in this event the players actually got to participate?

Yeah. Thought so. Shiny videos are not a subsitute for player involvement.

Can the real game do that?

If not why lie about it?

I'm sure it CAN handle 4,000 ships on the same grid that are IDLE, quite possibly not being even controlled by players. The net becomes clogged up when those ships are actually being used. and as for purely handling that many models at once, I honestly think it can. Maybe not on non-high end computers, though.

That fornicating prostitute is no Empress of mine. May the slime that oozes from between her legs infest and infect all her followers to their deaths. True Amarrians stand side by side and have no need of some pompass **** of a figurehead.

She will die soon. Already our agents have infiltrated her most trusted staff and have begun the task of cleansing the Amarr people of this disease that calls itself an Empress.

You know, according to EVE lore, the Jovians have 3 and the Amarr had 2 before one went to the Khanid Kingdom. They put in that many because the concept of Titan is pretty **** now, and they didn't want Amarr to look bad in light of player alliances. But I give it a year before one group has that many. They could have them now, if they were more useful. Even 4000 ships isn't that much.

Well, the workaround there was also that the official big Empire titans were different than the player ones. Probably the problem is there is no premium graphics model for the 'Empire' titans, so there you go.

Normally most super powers keep their major assets under wraps to avoid giving their enemies a heads up on their capability.

As i have read Empyrean age, i do not imagine that the Amarr Empire has really anymore capital assets than what was shown in in that video. and the Amarr Empire is shrinking Daily in minerals as well as in manpower.

I believe they have shot themselves in the foot but having such an elaborate ceremony in terms of military intelligence.

Rhatar yo're forgetting that most of our military tech isn't even "out for the public".

There's no foolishness in showing our might as it is, infact, it would only lull our enemies into a false sense of hope as they might think exactly like you do.
