All,

Earlier tonight I was in ours cramming some level 2's for standings and saw an interesting convo in local. A 15 day old player was alarmed after he got conkorded for firing, unprovoked, on a person with a bounty. His main contention was that he intended to click "no" to the hisec aggression warning but click "yes" instead.

After some discussion I ended up believing that he really did not understand why the reaction to what he had was so overwhelming by conkkord nor why the ui gave one and only warning that resulted in such a serious penalty (sec standing loss, equipment loss). Taking pity on him, I let him loot some level 2's.

I'm looking to get him placed in a nice corp that can nurture him and teach the way of the anti-pirate or the way of the hardcore pvp'r. His action of seeking out a person with bounty and attempting to collect said bounty -- in a punisher, seems to lend itself to the more aggressive side of eve. The corp should be of mature membership e.g. most of the players are over 25, does not smack, has a team atmosphere and is welcoming (but preferably a little tough).

I suspect this "lad" will make a fine addition to the eve world but have no idea (being a care bear) where to look for a solid pvp oriented corp willing to to take in a "New Born".

If this player sounds like your corp's idea of a fine foot soldier, do shoot me an in-game evemail or reply here that I'll review then forward to the person in question.

Hail,
Industria battletech, although we cannt be described as hardcore by anymeans the corp can provide the structured environement, direction, and training to bring any player to a self sufficient independant state, corp emphasis is focused on player quality not SP, and we prefer mature players who can focus on long term goals and objectives.

Well we are looking for new players to learn the way of a pvp'er, we have players with tons of experience, all that we ask is that he uses a microphone.

Hey Elseer

I would recommend Vexil to him. Not currently doing the sov-pos-lag stuff so would fit in with most of what you wanted in the first post. Come and join us in Vexil channel and he can see what we are doing here - Vexil website

The Intaki Liberation Front has a long history of taking in rookie pilots and training them follow the career path that best suits them. As such we could find a home for your well-intentioned but uninitiated friend.

He (and you too) can learn more about us at our web site.
