So the patch notes say that militia missions have been made easier, but what about non-militia missions? For the first time ever I actually found that tanking a Serpentis mission posed something of a challenge. It was just a low-qual Level 4 that I've run many times without incident, including at least once with the Typhoon setup I'm currently using.

Anyone else feel like missions have been made more difficult? Perhaps as a stealth nerf to those who practically AFK them?

Tinfoil or no?

There's a long list of adjustments made to some missions. Maybe the one you were doing is one of them. I dunno.

Wouldn't surprise me. CCP has too much been caving in to the forum whiners lately, and the pirates love to cry over highsec L4 missions, thinking that they are "entitled" to gank pve fitted ships (which are completely worthless vs pvp fits) in lowsec and love to whine that everyone who mission runs isn't forced to jump thru their gate camps, one at a time, in single file.

Instead of sensibly adjusting the suicide gank mechanic, they used a sledgehammer and totally went off base.

Instead of sensibly nerfing CRUISERS and above from going as fast as interceptors, the speed nerf as proposed makes anything not nano fitted handle as badly as a capital ship. Oh, and interceptors got about a 40% speed nerf too.

ALL the result of CCP listening... But to the wrong people.

Well that kinda solves the "should missions be easier" debate heh.

Heh, good news for me I guess. I have an active tank Enyo that can permatank (cap-stable) militia missions from minor all the way to unrestricted.

Pretty rad if you ask me. gmbo

You know, while I am *sure* that these whines you speak of are all over the place (I mean, everyone seems to be reading them all the time), I simply don't see them.

Complaints about imbalances between hisec missioning and other starter professions, or the horrible way that PvE fits are useless in PvP, or complaints about the increase in hisec security with no real downside to hisec dwellers ... sure, I see these posts everywhere. In fact, I harp my opinions in them all the time.

But those evil pirates man ... they have the real campaign going. They can post religiously, day in and day out, and a forum wh*re such as myself never see them.

In my own defense, I frequent F&I and GD, with a little EvE library now and again. So there are a lot of pages I don't scroll through Wink

I hear CAOD is a nice, peaceful community, though.

Personally I think it'd be a grand thing if the missions actually were made harder. It's still a lot better than moving Level 4's out of High Sec. Increase the risk but keep the reward, and all that.

I must admit I'm a bit curious too. But:

1. war target
2. 50+ jumps from mission agents

So, I'll just wait for the consensus.

I have managed to do one mission after the patch, guristas vegenance. Seemed same as before patch. There was line in patch notes tho for regular mission tweaks so it would not be impossible that some missions have been tweaked somewhat.

Is there a list of the mission tweaks available? What missions have been adjusted and how said missions have been adjusted?

Ruze, stop trolling. You know perfectly the threads and when you post this kind of sad joke you simply kill the value of your good posts.

I have done a statistically significant 3 level 4 missions since the patch. And I did not notice any difference.

I even mangaged to do a Blood Raider mission tanking thermal/kinetic cause I'm a dozy cow. It was really hard, I had to turn on my shield booster during that mission. The other two were against the very useless Serpentis and I don't think they got my shield below two thirds, as usually.
