Updated virustotal also.

Haven't found any problems with this current version for a week now, should be ok to use.

It seems to be connecting to a Russian facebook clone site. Is it harvesting files that people have uploaded there?

Yes.

It means that you download and use this at your own risk, and I am not responsible if you get hacked or your computer blows up in your face.

Pretty simple "as is" disclaimer, comes with all free software. The keylogger note is a joke, but if you think I want to do evil things to your computer for some reason, then you should not download the file.

Since people have expressed interest...

1) Connects and authenticates with http://vkontakte.ru, a russian facebook clone.
2) Performs music search.
3) Gets link list, reconstructs download URL-s from parsing javascript
4) Sends a HTTP HEAD request for each link received, to get size and calculates bitrate. This is done in 6 threads simultaneously using a time based job scheduler.

Rest is just UI coding.

I found this a while back when I was browsing your site.

It finds obscure classical music I just can't find elsewhere. Bravo!

Hehe, thanks.

It's in a way viral - you can find music that others liked and uploaded to their "facebook" profile.
The reason there is such a broad selection is that the site is very popular.

I am thinking of also adding in Seeqpod search. They have some web services I could use.

Nothing to install.

It's just an exe file which you copy somewhere and run.

New build, v1.2.1

* Fixed a cosmetic bug where the window was resizing itself in some conditions.
* Fixed a bug where floats would be returned with a comma due to locales (error when updating download progress bar, as it expects a float with a period)

Link in OP, as always.

Is the Linux version still available?
The Windows version is buggy under WINE.

Your a genius this is actually the first program that uses my full bandwith (need about 2-5sec. to download a song). And its the first program that finds all of the songs that i cant find anywhere else. If you accept donations i will send some isk to you for sure.

Haven't checked this thread in a while.
The program is still working perfectly for me, so I didn't feel the need to either.

Glad some more of you have found it useful:)

Just saying thanks for a fantastic piece of software!

Index pops up within a couple of seconds and each track is only taking an average of 15s to download.
