As a capital pilot i find it rediculous that a 1 week old noob with a warp scram can hold down a capital with a warp scram/disruptor. At the end of the day a warp scram should stop warp and not disable a jump drive. There is a huge difference between a jump drive and a warp drive and the 2 should not be treated as 1. If a scram should be able to hold down a dread or a carrier it should be able to hold down a titan or a mothership as well. At the end of the day a jump drive is the pinnicle of jump technology and a scram/disruptor should not stop that. At the very least there should be a specific jump drive disruptor that a ship should fit to hold down a cap because at the moment it is completely stupid.

Thats exactly why eve is so great... A relatively new player can make a difference even when facing capitol ships...

And this prevents caps from being solo pwnmobiles. Caps are used with support. You rat and get scrammed, your fault

A dread is not a solo pwnmobile anyway. Well apart from the moros. At the end of the day a new player should not expect to be a part of absolutely everything. Give something back to the older players that have trained for quite a while to get into their cap ships.

You lost a dread because of a newb scramming you?! What was your support fleet doing? Or were you doing something *else* with your dread other than flying it in a fleet...

I also think that, jump drives and warp disruptors should be something apart, otherwise, we could prevent someone in a sub-cap ship from jumping if Im scramming him at the gate (or scram the gate so people would never jump), the only thing I can think that could prevent capitals from jumping is just neut the cap, it comsumes 71% of cap (with jump drive op lvl5), just neut the cap and done, he cant jump.
Also, jump drive desmaterialize the ship (like the star gate) and not warp the person to other system :P
