I'm interested in learning to PvP effectively from experienced people. Have no Eve PvP experience, just an interest. The character is Matari with 1.6 mill SP, mostly in Learning and Navigation skills, atm. Working through the getting all the required support skills related to operating pretty much any ship to 4 or so. Currently flies a cap stable tackling rifter that can fly just over 3000 m/s. Could theoretically fly a cruiser.

Joined a corp based in 0.0 space about a month ago that I thought would be a good place to learn to PvP. However, the few experienced PvPers are busy with corp administrative issues and no actual PvP ops of any kind seem to take place. If this tells you anything, corp efficiency ratio is significantly less than 30%.

Based in US. Team player. Adult. High level of personal integrity. Not into role playing. Self-sufficient ISK-wise. Have a headset, Teamspeak, Vent and Eve-voice that all function. General play times from around 23:00 - 05:00 most weekdays, 15:00 - 0:500 Saturdays, and 15:00 - 23:00 Sundays. I don't play 100% of those times, but if I am playing, it's sometime during those hours.

Looking for active corp, of adults, that's willing to teach.

If you just decided to start your corp yesterday and it has 4 people in it, I'm probably not into it.

You may have heard of Agony Empire, but if not our website is 'www.agony-unleashed.com'. We also run a PvP University as a service to the Eve community, which has been used by thousands.

We have no SP restrictions and base out of Pure Blind. If you have any questions post on the forums on the website after registering.

Avrila:

I think UGH might be a good fit for you. We're mostly 25-30 mil SP pilots, though we've recently welcomed a small influx of real-life and online friends who are eager to learn the ropes. UGH has been around for a little over a year, and most of the members were in the same corp previous to that.

UGH was formed because many of us grew tired of the sovereignty/POS games, and all the drudgery which goes along with that. As such, we have no mandatory ops of any kind, ever -- you play when you want to. We have no industrial arm in the corp, as almost all of us use alts for that purpose. The upshot here is that if someone's logged on, they're probably up for some action. So while small, we're both tight-knit and have a very high level of participation.

Our main aim is to basically make ourselves a pain in the neck to those larger alliances and corps around us (wherever that may be). We run roaming ops, some camps, lowsec piracy, the occasional empire war, etc. We're basing out of Curse, having recently joined Obsidian Empire, many of whom we know from our time in Notoriety Alliance. OE is constantly pvping, and there's likely something going on whenever you log on.

We'd have no problem at all showing you what 0.0 and lowsec pvp is about, and a tackling rifter is just fine for that purpose. In fact, we'd prefer you fly that really well than something larger that you're not as skilled for. We fly a very wide range of ships, of all races, and can help with lots of different types of fits.

We're laid back and generally affable, and tend to towards the adult side (I think our youngest member is 25). As far as integrity, I'd trust any member of UGH with everything in my hangar, without hesitation, and others have placed similar trust in me in the past.

UGH is made up of US and NZ/AUS players, and we're online generally from, say, 6pm EST until downtime. The rest of the alliance, as I said, is on pretty much all the time. Our efficiency (as measured by the KB) is typically in the 80-90% range: http://uninvitedguests.info/KB/?a=corp_detail&crp_id=8275. We really like to get into a good fight, and facing uneven odds isn't a deterrent to that aim. We have several very competent FCs, and run a very cohesive gang.

Most of all, we realize eve is a game, and so at the end of the day we're here to have fun. Real life does can and does take precedence, and we're totally fine with that.

Here's a bit more about us from a recent recruitment thread: http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=838195

If you're interested, convo me, Lorcar, Aradaneth or Sard Caid in game and we'll chat more.

Black Legion Command are an up and comingPVP corp, currently based in empire, we have at the moment 22 members from new characters up to capital capable pilots.

BLC is a corp which encourages fun, we are basically a mercenary corp but we do participate in pirating lowsec.

A good sense of humour is an absolute must, we play eve for fun, as long as we have fun then whatever we are doing is fine. We are all very laid back people and while we do go out on fleet ops we also do small gang and solo stuff. Some poeple run missions too, and there is no pressure to get involved in anything you dont want to.

Based in Minmatar space.

So if you like the sound of us, contact Faekurias, Kyle McKoy or myself and give us a go.

We the People is recruiting active players to join their growing pew-pew extravaganza. WTP is a group of former mercs who have come together to form a union of pvp players and industrial players to create a well-rounded corp. More importantly, WTP is a group of players who don't take Eve too seriously but enjoy everything in Eve from building ships to destroying carebear dreams.

WHAT WE OFFER:

1. Low-Sec access including mining (with a strong PvP security presence and with mining bonuses), low-sec PvP roaming fleets with an NBSI policy, low-sec exploration, and moon mining possibilities.

2. Occasional mercenary contracts and other empire wars to feed our hunger for PvP operations.

3. Growing industrial backbone that will provide ship replacement at substantially reduced prices.

4. Access to Level 5 missions.

5. A true democracy, where the people have a voice in the corporation, a say in the corporation, and shares in the corporation (and its profits).

6. Strong ties to multiple corps for joint combat operations.

7. NEW! SIGNING BONUS!! : Every new pilot will be issued 1 exotic dancer, 1 unit of spirits, and 1 unit of tobacco! \0/

WHAT WE NEED:

1. Miners and industrialists of all sklill levels who are willing to work to support the combat operations of the corporation by participating in mining operations to support corporate industrial projects (but also free to make their own profits doing their own thing).

2. PvP players (new and experienced) to expand our combat fleet.

3. Mission Runners who are willing to also gain experience in PvP to take up arms in times of war.

If you are interested, please join WTPWN Recruits or evemail Sprak or Mike Smith to set up an interview.

Thanks for the replies. Should have more time this evening to work through these and talk to some people. I'm hoping it's much easier to find a corp that better suits my personality now that I have a better idea of what I want to do in Eve.

PODU is now rebuilding its ranks. Come join what is to be a very aggressive and organized corporation.

We are members of The Village People Alliance. Of course we are pvp with a name like PODU but looking for anyone who is interested in doing some pvp even if your primary goal is mining, industy, etc etc. Everyone should get some pvp time so why not with us. We are looking for some good people to join our ranks and fight. Be part of a team but also be allowed to do what you want to do when you want to do it. Freedom is the key to our success but teamwork is the door we must open to win.

Everyone in this game was new at sometime: So new and experienced players apply (Please no
alt/trail accounts)

1. 0.0 access with plenty of pvp
2. Very good relations with our select locals
3. Plenty of PVP with people in the alliance in all timezones
4. Part of an alliance that is pvp oriented
5. Freedom to come and go
6. Very nice and organized alliance TS
7. Fairly close to empire compared to other alliances (single carrier jump)
8. Ohh yea and one hell of a good looking CEO

You probably won't see this as there are about 15 replies before mine, but I'll give it a shot.

Subtle Romance is a pirate corp dedicated to the instruction of newer players in PvP. That's what the corp was started for, and to that end we strive to make a relaxed learning atmosphere. There's no tax rate and I reimburse any frigates or crusiers lost while I'm leading gang.

That said, we're pirates, not griefers. We don't camp, lie about ransoms or cheat in duels. That sort of conduct is unacceptable.

Your play time matches those of most of the corp (including myself), so you shouldn't have a problem finding wingmates.

If you have any questions (any at all), feel free to join the "Free PvP Help" channel or contact me in game. I'm a pretty extensive knowledge base about this game (been playing for three years), and would be delighted to have the opportunity to pass along any useful information.

Fly with you soon!
