Big words coming from someone who's Faction shoots anyone who comes threw the gate into a lowsec system that they are camping.

Every gate I have incountered with a Gall camp in low sec they have "Attempted" (I use that word because it was just pathetic.) tryed to shot me. I'm not part of FW because I have better things to do with my time. Now when I have encountered Caldari camps they don't even try to lock me. Now you tell me who would be better for the people of Intaki. The Fed or the state. The Fed's milita shoots down its own people while the state alows them to pass. Since I am no longer a ILF pilot My intrests in this area has shifted some what. But make no mistake If needed I will return to Intaki to assist those who I call brothers.

While much of what Ms. Jenneth has said seems well-meant and true, the Caldari in Covryn are more like the rest of the thugs and pirates in Placid.

At least they didn't ask for a ransom.

Shooting of neutrals in low sec space by the FDU has been a long debated topic. I'm on the side of the people that say any neutral should be killed on sight. Though this does lead to strained relations with the pod pilot inhabitants of low sec it also teaches them to stay out of our way. As a bonus it gets rid of Caldari spies who follow us and report our fleet movements to Daniel Jackson and the other Caldari Fleet Commanders. The pirates that take advantage of this war also suffer from this policy.

So let me get this right, Your fighting for the federation to safe guard it from the evil caldari and amarr but your blasting its citizens when you find them in low-sec because there not blue to you? You do realize that the Federation milita is unable to set anyone to blue except if your intire corp is part of the milita. Or if you set them personally Hmm lets see, That sounds like the federation! Say one thing and do another. Yea sounds like the federation is a really safe place to live.

P.S. With comments like "Stay out of our way" No wonder most Pod pilots not in FW have FW pilots set to KOS.

Milita recruitment has, on all sides, attracted a signifigant number of...let's just say "marginalized elements" from null-sec regions. Some of them have made invaluble contributions of their experience and some of them need the proper rules of engagement pounded into their skulls.

Similar unsavory elements in the Caldari militia have a signifigant impact too...I speek mostly of Quam Singulari. Before the war they were known pirates around the Placid region: oportunisticly they have enlisted with the Caldari and are primarily responsable for the fall of Covryn and the current terrorization of space traffic in the system. I am not even sure that the taking of Covryn actauly fufills a particular strategy of the Caldari command. What is certianly true however is that while most of the militia fleet converges on the government center in Villore and fights in the corridor between Essence and Black Rise, certian determined elements slowly try to nibble away at Placid.

It is interesting how the Serpentis are so quickly dismissed as not being a threat. I have seen few Caldari militants entering Federation high-security space yet I am fighting multiple Serpentis battle fleets on a daily basis. I have had little problem driving these fleets away but they are large enough to cause the local stations to consider paying these fleets to get them to leave.

The Caldari militia is a thread to the low security regions but the Serpentis seem far more disruptive in the high security regions. If they were to decide to focus their efforts on the Intaki systems for whatever reason, it seems like they could be a huge threat given their numbers.

Drethon, I quite agree with you. As the topic states, this thread was to be a discussion of the Serpentis and what we loyal Intaki are doing to stop their incursion into our system.

Of course, it could be argued that this thread has become a microcosm of society at large: The Intaki ask for assistance and are told they don't really have a problem.

I also find it troubling that the Gallente forces are so preoccupied with their factionalism that they are becoming almost blind to the threat posed by the Serpentis. I estimate that I have seen a 10 to 15 percent increase in Serpentis activity in Intaki over the last few weeks.

While the system has been cast off as the hinterlands by most Gallente, Intaki is only three short jumps from the trade hub in Stacmon. Could Intaki be a staging ground for some sinister Serpentis plan?
