The browser crashes me out all of the time now. It happens when asp pages are passing back fields that perhaps are not HTMLEncoded. This leads to an immediate crash after the page loads and you hit the mouse button somewhere in the browser page.

It did not crash before the patch. Are you or is anyone aware of such differences in this patch?

*bumb*

All in-game web pages that transfer data back and forth with FORMS, crash. All of the time. Devs/GMs - please advise.

I encountered this, started up Log Server and reproduced it, and then filed a Bug Report. Then I came to forums.

Have you folks submitted your reports with supporting files? In addition to the Log File, I see that the crash created a "minidump" file named "#crash.<date>.<ver>". I sent that too.

Anyway, for anyone wanting the steps to reproduce this 100% of the time, here are my "Steps To Reproduce". For the morbidly curious:

1. Login to EVE, activate a character
2. Open the in-game browser
3. Go to a site that has links and form elements. Without Loss of Generality:
3.1 Visit http://eveauction.com
3.2 Enter your username and password for the site. Hit Login.
3.3 Then click a link--say "Browse".
4. Welcome to the Windows Desktop. Eve gone bye-bye.

Note: the site may have worked fine prior to 1077. That doesn't mean it will now.

*bump*

Still haven't heard any word of a fix for this. I have submitted a bug report.

Any news, anyone?
