See above.

1. Do you know what the In Game Browser (IGB) is?

Yes

2. How often do you use the IGB?

Very rarely - only for the Eve Recruitment site, and to read the news. Once a month I guess.

3. When you do use the IGB, how long does it typically stay open? (If applicable)
Ten minutes

4. If an application existed that required your IGB to stay open during the entire duration of your EVE session, would you consider this a downside or a turnoff to using that application? (note that the IGB can be minimized and left alone. It just has to be open to a certain page.)

Yes, however I would consider it a downside. This would be very minor unless it caused any detectable client lag, in which case I would basically not use it. I multi-account almost all the time.

5. Does your answer to question 4 change if there is ISK involved? If the site is extremely innovative? If you enjoy the features that are offered?

If it replaces an oog browser as reference/keeping not bored while traveling, then it might mean less client lag, so yes. If there is isk involved, it would depend how much (cost/benefit).

6. Do you run EVE in windowed mode?

Always

7. How often do you alt-tab out of EVE to view forums, websites, instant messengers, and other applications?

Every few minutes unless actually involved in PVP. While roaming I consult maps, while doing PVE I read forums, use IMs etc.

8. Do you want 10 million ISK for filling out this survey?

Yes, thanks.

1. Do you know what the In Game Browser (IGB) is?
Yes.

2. How often do you use the IGB?
quite often with sites like battleclinic.com or eve-survival.org

3. When you do use the IGB, how long does it typically stay open? (If applicable)
see above, to check eve related sites or paste killmails, normally stays open for short, close it as soon as i have the info i wanted.

4. If an application existed that required your IGB to stay open during the entire duration of your EVE session, would you consider this a downside or a turnoff to using that application? (note that the IGB can be minimized and left alone. It just has to be open to a certain page.)
hmmm, not sure, as long as it doesnt cause lag or something or is not a security risk, why not.

5. Does your answer to question 4 change if there is ISK involved? If the site is extremely innovative? If you enjoy the features that are offered?
see above, why not.

6. Do you run EVE in windowed mode?
no, fullscreen only

7. How often do you alt-tab out of EVE to view forums, websites, instant messengers, and other applications?
not often, only if i have to check sites, which dont support IGB, this happens not often.

8. Do you want 10 million ISK for filling out this survey?
Yes, would be nice.

1. Do you know what the In Game Browser (IGB) is?
Yes

2. How often do you use the IGB?
Several times a session. Mostly to read CCP News Items.

3. When you do use the IGB, how long does it typically stay open? (If applicable)
10-15 minutes. Normally the length of time it takes to read any CCP News blurbs.

4. If an application existed that required your IGB to stay open during the entire duration of your EVE session, would you consider this a downside or a turnoff to using that application? (note that the IGB can be minimized and left alone. It just has to be open to a certain page.)
Depends on the application and the impact it has to my gameplay. If there is minimal impact, no problem. If it affects gameplay, we've got issues.

5. Does your answer to question 4 change if there is ISK involved? If the site is extremely innovative? If you enjoy the features that are offered?
Again, it depends primarily on the effect on gameplay. All other enticements are secondary.

6. Do you run EVE in windowed mode?
Yes.

7. How often do you alt-tab out of EVE to view forums, websites, instant messengers, and other applications?
Very often (doing it right now).

2. How often do you use the IGB?

As long as the IGB could be minimized and it created no performance issues and was EULA friendly, it wouldn't bother me.

5. Does your answer to question 4 change if there is ISK involved? If the site is extremely innovative? If you enjoy the features that are offered?

1)Yes, I use it mainly for exploration.
2)Usually once per session - at least daily, sometimes several times a day
3)Once I open it, it stays open (minimized)
4)Sure, why not. As long as it doesn't contribute to lag.
5)It really depends on the "innovations", but yes I'd give it a look.
6)No
7)Constantly - other sites, but mainly my XL spreadsheets.

1. Do you know what the In Game Browser (IGB) is?
Yup

2. How often do you use the IGB?
Once or twice per log in.

3. When you do use the IGB, how long does it typically stay open? (If applicable)
Usually only after I've seen what has been linked to me, so not long at all.

4. If an application existed that required your IGB to stay open during the entire duration of your EVE session, would you consider this a downside or a turnoff to using that application? (note that the IGB can be minimized and left alone. It just has to be open to a certain page.)
Not at all, the IGB doesn't affect performance and can be minimized so I don't see why it would bother me.

5. Does your answer to question 4 change if there is ISK involved? If the site is extremely innovative? If you enjoy the features that are offered?
If I enjoyed the features offered I would use the IGB all the time.

6. Do you run EVE in windowed mode?
Yes.

7. How often do you alt-tab out of EVE to view forums, websites, instant messengers, and other applications?
Very often. I would use full screen and IGB more often if the IGB supported more pages, loaded faster and could make use of other formats of pages.

8. Do you want 10 million ISK for filling out this survey?
If its being offered, of course :)

1. Do you know what the In Game Browser (IGB) is?
Yes - I have used it on many occasions to interface with EVE tools (EVE Trader is one), and I also have done some brief web design work for it.

2. How often do you use the IGB?
Depends on what I am doing in EVE - sometimes it can be daily, other times I may rarely use it because I am unsure if a website will freeze EVE. If I am doing missions, it is almost always open with the mission information in it (via website).

3. When you do use the IGB, how long does it typically stay open? (If applicable)
Re question 2, if doing missions it can be open and stay open for many hours while I complete missions. Other times it will be open while I check the latest EVE news in it, and then it is closed when I am done.

4. If an application existed that required your IGB to stay open during the entire duration of your EVE session, would you consider this a downside or a turnoff to using that application? (note that the IGB can be minimized and left alone. It just has to be open to a certain page.)
This highly depends on the use of the application. I tend to prefer applications to require as little "help" as possible to function. There can be many times when I may accidentally close a window, and if that were to break the application or cause it to report false information to me, I would be slightly disappointed in this requirement.

5. Does your answer to question 4 change if there is ISK involved? If the site is extremely innovative? If you enjoy the features that are offered?
If there is a reward, then yes I would be more inclined to keep the IGB open, however if an application is innovative and useful to me then the ISK reward would be irrelevant since I would want to use the features of this because of it's usefulness and not the ISK reward - but I would never turn down ISK :)

6. Do you run EVE in windowed mode?
Yes - always - because I require constant access to my system tray and to other applications I run on my system. I do not have an exclusive gaming system and I do work from my computer while EVE may be in the background, so full-screen mode is a hindrance to me.

7. How often do you alt-tab out of EVE to view forums, websites, instant messengers, and other applications?
Depending on the time of day it can be very often to not very often at all. If it is during work hours, chances are I am not paying much attention to EVE at all unless it makes a sound. If I am actually *playing* eve, then I won't be OOG much unless to check a site that doesn't work with the IGB.

8. Do you want 10 million ISK for filling out this survey?
Damn skippy! I'd be lying if I said no :) However, quite honestly the reward was not my reason for filling this out - I'm actually interested to find out what you have in mind for this application you speak of. (Also, my curiosity is quite peaked by how many millions you must have given out so far for this - I could only wish I had that much ISK)

Hopefully my answers were helpful - they are honest!
