Now we see life through a lens. I am very happy with the way this story turned out. It has is faults like everything else, but it hits a tone that I've always wanted to hit. Anyone who's read Brian Hodge will catch the obvious references, and if you haven't read Brian Hodge, you're missing out.

Edit: Remember that if you now click on the main image over the story text, you get a high-res version of the chronicle art.

Great story as always! Although one with a bit drama of the small people would be nice. Like getting between the lines and such ...

Edit: Wow, my 1st ever (2nd-1)-post ugh

2nd edit: Will there be high-res pics of older chronicles be added? Pretty please!?

That was a fun read, I like the different angle it tells the story from and the feel of the events from the photographer. I may not be able to participate in FW, but at least I can enjoy these stories about it! Very Happy

Good story. Am I reading too much into it that I pick up an underlying story? Perhaps something about those who witness atrocities and do nothing are just as guilty as those commiting them?

The new expantion has some very good potential for "game lore". This is just one of many stories I hope to read in reguards to it :)

Same, lol.

That story was really "down to earth" so to speak. No big battles in space or anything, just people doing naughty little vandalism. YARRRR!!

You took the words right out of my mouth. I love the winking that the mad man did at the end.

I'd guess they are made by the EVE art department. But would indeed be nice to know by whom exactly. Maybe combine his/her name and the picture's name to the file's name?

Excepting "A Life in Three Acts", the last bunch of stories have all been about small people, for various definitions of "small". Smile We're gearing up for war now, which means loud people shouting things, but don't worry; my focus always shifts back to the c*racks in the pavement eventually.

As for high-res pics, we're only getting the new ones for now. I'm not going to promise anything else, but when things slow down a bit for us (hah!) we can take a look at doing something with the older pieces.

Exactly. The grander implications of exactly that theme will become clear when you read Tony's novel and find out who these people were.

We never sign stuff; if I didn't set up these threads you wouldn't even know who wrote the stories Smile But the artist for these recent pieces is a very nice Frenchman named Michel Koch. He doesn't post here, but if you have questions to him you can ask them in the thread and I'll relay his answers.

fantastic story as ever. well we now know one of the contributing factors to the Caldari-Gallente war. I do like the the fact he is basically doing most of their for them, due largely because he is not saying to anyone where they are likely to go next and that he is providing free publicity for them.

although the only downside to the story is the picture. It says he takes his mask off but the picture shows him with it on. But nevertheless i like the pic Smile

It's great to see a Caldari doing the work of the Federation. Wow, he even goes as far as to publish the pictures and show everyone our exploits. In all the horrendous events the Federation have had to put up with the Caldari State, a tiny thanks is in order for this modest individual.

.... The next time you call our race repulsive, there'll be hell to pay!

one thing i dont get is why the police didnt start following this guy around.

i mean, wouldent they realise this guy knows where there going to be and to set up some gaurds or something?

I wouldn't be surprised if some one of the people in the attacks are police themselves.

Great story, completly loved it, really portrays what the Caldari on Caldari prime have to deal with. I'm looking forward to the day when the Caldari liberate the planet and return the favour onto Gallente Prime, take those worthless Gallente down, Caldari rule.Twisted Evil

The start seems a little poor. “My hearing was gone, too, replaced with a constant, high-pitched whine.” Then seconds later “I could hear live electricity flying about.” Surly he was deaf with ringing in his ears so he shouldn’t have been able to hear anything else like electricity?

Apart form that very good and I like the ending.

And thanks for the tip on the high res artwork. There's definately some good stuff, there, and high res simply looks so much better as background for my desktop :)

I thoroughly enjoyed this chronicle. It was an excellent story of journalism and the ending pretty much gave me shivers, it was that well written. These are the kind of short stories I like, even love. Mad dogs made me want to read more.

Personally, I miss the captions that used to grace the pictures in the earlier chronicles, added a little bit more info that helped one more greatly appreciate the fiction it was related to.

Any news on that?
