It s time to start a profession to build tech II implants out of the tech I ones.
( The market is now broken for a long time on them And the masses of implants needs to get upgraded)

Perhaps combined with the Faction warfare lpoint shop which gives out limited bpcs.

Bpcs ( how its up to ccp)

Implant + hardwire+ bpc = tech II implant with a bonus.

No sets like the pirate faction ones pa example, just a little upgrade to bonuses.

Adding some new industrial skills like

"neural technolgy"
"fine/nano mechanic"

What about something like this?

Or, an alternative. Implants can remain an NPC gold sink to pull mass amounts of money out of the economy, and we keep the problems caused by the non-diminishing nature of implants bonuses minimized by not making them even more powerful.

I like my idea better.

I think as long they would add a stacking penalty to bonuses on imps from the 2. one. U can reduce it to a civil level and not overpowering a character.

Also they way to get such a bpc should be depended on PVP like in factional warfare.
It would support the factional warfare, and make it even more interesting.

(Empire specific implants are avaiable< couldnt rember the name of the both they where ingame)

I can't think of any way for these to function differently than the multiple grades of implants do now. This is already covered in plenty of detail by the current system, we don't need more implants that just do the same things.

What about the situation where u have 2 diffrent implants( hardwires) u wanne plug in, and only 1 slot?

It could cover such a situation for a possible realy heavy price.

Perhaps an extra penalty on it like riggs ?

That's the whole point of the slot system, as I see it. Look at, say, my post on drone implants - there's a few there I specifically paired off against each other so that people couldn't do too much with implants - specifically, fighter damage/drone bay size(pick either logistics or DPS for your carrier, not both), and light drone damage/drone speed(pick either blazingly fast light drones or ones that can do better DPS, but not both). A couple others are similar.

The existing implants work the same way. For example, look at the Gunslinger CX-2 (5% turret damage) and Lancer C2-Delta (5% turret ROF) implants - they're in the same spot specifically so you can't have both active at once. I think that system is a good thing, and I don't want to see it changed. Choices aren't always a bad thing.
