Right, this probably isn't the best place to ask but its doing my head in and its the only forums I use. I use hair care products on my hair, to give it a style. However after about 30 minutes with any product it falls down. The only one I could use would be gel, but thats way to thick and clumps the hair together and my hair is too long for that. I have tried loads of stuff, clay, wax, currently using fudge at 11 a tub and my hair just falls down into a scruffy mess, it drives me MAD. I need something that will stay in place whatever, not fall down. If anybody knows any tricks or ways to stop this happening then please tell me.

Have you tried that Manga gel that Shockwave (I think) do? I've got a mate who uses that and it works really well.

Fudge doesn't hold your hair in place?

My barber was selling off his stock of Fudge at 2.50 a pot, so I bought a couple. Used it once since, but holy **** if that doesn't hold your hair in place, you're a lost cause Shocked

Well I've used some expensive clay, that fell down eventually, think it was called trevor sorbay or something, and ive used brylcreem's hardest wax, but that doesnt work either. It's driving me mad, im spending loads of money buying stuff for my hair. It's really fustrating, for 30 minutes I have the coolest hair style in the world, seriously, then it just falls down and its like Evil or Very Mad

That's innovative. How do you get the wax out of like the bottom of the boot, without getting it all up your arm from what's left on the sides?

I used to use Dax Wax when my hair was short, and it works wonders - but I've got past-shoulder length hair now and the only thing that holds it in place is gravity or super-glue :\

Besides, do you really really really want to look like another Super Saiyan Goku jock ?

Seriously ?

It's called a hair cut. The only people who like long hair are hippies and women, and they only look good in that latter.

Oh well *shrug*. Sorry, never used any other "hair products" except shampoo.
Just after I wash it, my hair looks almost like an afro, but fluffier.
After 2 to 3 days, no matter how I shape it, that's how it stays for a good while... anything from "whoa, did you get a haircut" next-to-dissapearance look up to "geez, get a haircut" DBZ-like appearance.
The hair of doom !
First is the "just got out of bed" look, next few ones are "look what I can do with just a comb and 15 seconds of free time" Twisted Evil

P.S. YES, I am in dire need of a hair cut. Well, not that I care anyway, and I just didn't feel like bothering with one yet... my GF's always the picky one when it comes to MY haircut. Oh well...

Elliot: (As the princess) Idiot, I have to ask. How do you get your hair like that?
J.D.: (As the village idiot) You like it? I do it myself. It's one part horse manure, one part river mud and a touch of my special ingredient.
J.D.'s narration: More horse manure.

The problem is its not that long really, the fringe doesn't reach my eyebrows, its just normal length. Its only just poking over my ears. It drives me nuts though. Btw I would love to have john dorians hair style Cool

Personally, I would love to have any hairstyle that doesn't make my head look like some form of mushroom or other when it grows long. My hair never grows down. It grows up and sideways. Damned annoying.

1) Your probably using too much product adding weight to the hair, use a little experiment
2) Beyond a certain length certain peoples hair is just reaches a certain length and becomes unmanageable this can be a really short length, bulk is usually a issue there too.
3) How damp is your hair when you style it, dampness extra weight etc....
4) Consult your hairdresser next time you get it cut

Am I the only one that really really wants to see pictures of the OP's hair?
Preferably before, while and after the use of said products.
I don't even wanna see the face and know the real identity, but boy I wanna see what's it looks like.

I'm thinking Grease-John Travolta.

Woodglue.

My friend did her cousins hair into a mohawk using the stuff, and she had like at least 20 inches of hair.

OK OP check it out, get a cheap hair straightener. Set that baby to hot as hell and run it over your hair to make it dry as sin.

Now try it again.
