Corp A (high-sec war-deccers) dec B (high-sec carebears). Corp B does not want to fight.

Redress is needed between the aims of A and B. Suggested redress is tithes.

Corp B members are not permitted to move corp while dec exists (or if they do they carry it with them) however they can convert dec status to vassal status by tithing a stipulated amount (as with decs, this would be fixed but maybe a declining scale rather than increasing for multiple tithes).

Like decs, tithes 'can't be refused'. While tithing to A carebears are safe from A... indeed, A may feel it to be in their interests to protect B.

Too bad. Non-consensual PvP is part of the game.

Uh. My alliance has been in a war continuously without a day's break for past, uh... 1.5 years or so. If no one had been allowed to leave at that time, that would have been kinda screwed.

Too bad ppl who don't want to fight and run to avoid a war are part of the game as well.

No! He is right! High-sec wardec corps who pick on people that aren't able to fight back should be given a method to earn money while they sit on their asses!

Isn't tithing specifically for the church? And isn't it by definition 10% of your income?

Heck, just take the other corp into your alliance and put a tax rate on them.

Its in your interest to keep carebears in the game making your ammo. The more you increase the ability to kill them, they less they play, and the less cheap ammo you have. along with everything else made. Just accept that some people dont want to fight. There are plenty of others that do. Peaceful industry is part of the game too.

Tithing is a form of taxation from feudal times when the castle would get a certain percentage of all the produce of his landholders. What the OP doesn't seem to understand is that the landholders were protected by the castle in return.

This is SUCH BS. There is absolutely nothing which stops a newbie corp from docking their mains, rolling untrained alts and blobbing wardeccers with nearly free frigates. I can't see 'aren't able to fight back' as a possibility, ever.

And if the target is a big industrial corp with lots of POSes -- well, defense should be part of the business plan. Cough up a few B to hire mercs to blob your war targets 10 to 1. If you don't care to defend -- going out of business is part of the cost of undercutting other corps who DO have defense priced into their products.

all that crying from the BBW (Big Bad Wolfs) of eve that want to pvp and kill all the time seems a bit pathetic to me. Its like yes i have the ba**s to wardec some one in +0.5 but i dont the ba**s in order to prove how strong my corp is and move in -0.4.

who is more of a carebear? he/she that thinks that wardec in 0.5 is ok or the corp jumpers?

at the moment i am more of a noob, rather than a carebear. the corp where i am is in +0.5. i dont consider my self a pvpier, i have mixed up skills and i work my way up slowly slowly.
still though, if the corp moves to -0.4 i will go, and when we are on war i fight.

thing is we are a corp with both industrial and pvp chars. that means we can have a go in a war and see what happens. those gamers though that are industrial corps and are industrial chars dont even have a chance.

you always have to see the two sides of the coin.Smile

Well if people are forced to fight in player corps, everyone will just leave into NPC corps, and then it is back to low sec for PVP. The wardec system can easily become as useless as low sec is atm. But look on the brightside... you wont have to worry about fighting those that dont want to fight anymore.

This is exactly how it should be. Those who don't want to have to defend themselves should stay in NPC corps.

I'm way closer to being a carebear than a PvPer, and even I agree that people in Player corporations must assume the risk of being at war in addition to the benefits of not being in an NPC corporation.

If you don't want to be at war, ever, then you are in the wrong game. Hell, the industrial corp I was in was able to put up a fight when another corp decided to see what they could squeeze from us. We lost, and on a few occasions, we lost horribly, but we were able to fight back and even learn a few things about the game because of the war. Because we stuck it out we ended up better than we were before.

I don't think the tithing idea is the solution, but removing non-consentual PvP or continuing to allow people to avoid wars by creating alt-corps to bounce to is definitely against the spirit of the game.

Another trend is, as decent miners come up with different things to amuse themselves with, and the need for minerals grows in eve in generel, macrominers gain more ground. Sure hit the isk buyers helps with the isk picture but not sure it does much to the mineral scene.

Less decent miners = more macro nubs = more pirate whine.

We dont leik the macro fools anymore than you. Actually less. Many of us has taken up piracy because teh veldspar doesnt love us anymore.

Macro's actually brought pirates and miners closer together. I think thats frak'in beautiful. *cheers*
