I'm trying to run EVE from an USB device (A portable HD in my case)
But I keep losing my settings if I start the game on a new machine.
Now I remember that the switch /ula:off made sure that the cache and settings were not written to C:\Documents and Settings\%APPDATA%\CCP\EVE
Any idea if this is still valid? |

I'm guessing you just have a typo, it's supposed to be:
/end /LUA:OFF |

It needs to be this exactly as it is here or it does not work and dont forget the space between the end of the .exe /end /LUA:OFF |

They removed it. It was a temporary measure until the added the new paths for settings and their ilk. |

LUA is still active, but not needed unless you want to force the settings to end up in the client folder (like I do since I don't want all settings on D&C on the same drive). |
