Is it just me or have certain gloves come off, now, all good manners forgotten, and candidates are going for each others' throats less than 24 hours after voting closed? Is this how it's going to be then when our representatives are supposed to seriously debate our concerns and suggestions? Hmmm...

Isn't today the 'eye of the storm' though? The campaign is over but the winners aren't announced so candidates could (if they wanted to) let themselves off the leash until the first Council is announced tomorrow, at which time nine good pilots and true (hopefully) will sit down and talk sense to each other and CCP / Devs.

Oh, yeah, well, it wouldn't be politics if all the candidates really were frank and honest about everthing they really felt about everything and everyone else BEFORE the vote... But then, wonders are said to have happened once or twice.

Anyways, let me add my thanks to these men and women willing to stand in public scrutiny so long and so valiantly - much of it was good entertainment, and while there were disappointments, there were also some interesting promises. I'm pretty sure the bunch will accomplish something in their term, and whatever it'll be, it'll likely be fun to sit by and watch. Cheers! :)

CCP said CSM members would be notified via email before the announcement to the EVE Populous.

I very strongly suspect that the incoming Council will be seeking the views and opinions of other EVE pilots, so there will be no time to 'sit by and watch' for anyone!

PR stuff over. Good :) Now (and later on) we'll see who we actually voted for. I'm sure there'll be surprises (like kids that just happened to have a good speech, a movie or something) or maybe positive ones, too. I can't wait, should be fun :)

I'm not so sure.

I do agree, some people took their gloves off. And I'm not happy with the childish way people are acting now.

But some of us won't change. We didn't change our behaviour, just because of serious internet spaceship election.

Well now at least all behaviour is on part of RL people.
There is no hiding behind Avatar names here - regardless of who is/not elected. Wink
Or did anyone forget that? Shocked

Yes in deed, thank you Very Happy

I have had a wonderful and interesting experience running for a chair in the CSM but recently my onlie activity has been spated by exams Sad I hope this however did not affect anything for myself but time will tell.

Thanks once again, everyone Smile

Heh, nobody is perfect, least alone Eve gamers. Ah well, it has been a fun few weeks of political process, interesting to see what happens next.
