1. Will there be any significant website/UI changes with the expansion as well as ship model adjustments?
2. Will pvp change in how any corp is automatically vulnerable to war anywhere?
3. Website changes to reflect the expansion? Maybe some integration or reconstruction
4. Corp chat additions or changes
5. Mission rectification/error and inconstancy fixes?
6. Ship model changes, symmetrical designs maybe?
7. Removal of wait times perhaps?
8. Ship models?!?!?

Will all the events described in the Novel (kudos t0nyG, love your work) will have played out by the time this expansion comes out. As i've noticed that some of them are allready happening?

And could you please give some info about what's coming with this expansion, or what would you want/dream/wish to implement in it? Gathering snipets of info from non eve-online sites is kind of lame.

Factional warfare..

I guess factional warfare is going to be introduced and my questions are about that.. But first some background information about that.
As of today, you can shoot your own corp mate in a gang in Empire without punishment. Also, in low sec and in 0.0, you can shoot gang mates accidentally or by purpose.
This basically prevents us teaming up with hardcore pvp pirates to hunt somebody else, and prevents some gameplay. Also if you are in a starter corp, and want pvp action, you have to put all your ships and mods into someone elses hands as you have to rely on them not pirating you while in the gang, and I guess factional warfare is targetted the playerbase that isnt apart of the alliance wars, but more casual players to get some pvp action..

So questions:
1. will there be a mechanism while in factional warfare not to shoot on your own faction you are fighting for ?
2. I guess new systems are added to the patch, and how does you deal with pirates in the factional warfare systems and the enroute to them through low sec ? It would be easy to stop factional warfare by camping the 0.4 system from empire towards the fighting system(s).
3. what about ewar mods, will those still be available with the factional warfare ?

In the Trinity launch interview Halldór Guđjónsson said that in the next expansion there will be alot of focus on efects, to further exploit the possibilities of the Trinity 2.0 graphix engine. What is being done in this regard?

Is there a possibility of new tools for all us Machinima movie makers?

I've noticed that the tools for movie making in-game are quite lack luster. I was hoping for a more wide and varied system where anyone who enjoyed this aspect of Movie making, would have a better opportunity to do so.

A list of questions that would be relavent under the context

1) Whats the meaning to life, the universe, and everything

2) Will we see the return to updates in the Patch Notes, Drawing Board, In testing. A little information goes a long way to happiness, get that personal feel back with devs.

3) Will I ever get a chance to make use of my Complex Fullerene Shards, as was stated when they were given out?

4) Is it really that hard for some one anyone to spend
5 min at least once a week to put out a "Hi from the dev" in the dev blog. A little bit goes a long way, and i'm sure theres plenty of people in the studio to come up with something new.

5) Dear God are you going to fix the overview bump when you join a fleet

6) Will you continue the expansion of the COSMOS idea of giving systems some character. Even if it's something that has no real bearing on the game play. I want a Minmitar underground railroad agent that I can smuggle slaves out of amarr to that would then free them. Even if it's just to get a name on a top ten Freedom Runners list. And of course the opposite for amarr. Simple, Easy adds depth to the game.

7) Duel screen support for something like in supreme commander?

8) How do I win in eve?

I think that about somes up some of the "Question about Empyrean Age" well some of them anyway

I am curious primarily with the state of trinity. It is incomplete as far as it was described to be. I know the continued work on this portion of the game was something that was always going to be in the background, however if it is put to far in the back then the progress of the updates will be very poor. Where are the other 200+ objects referred to when Trinity first came out? What about 3d effects, and backgrounds. The revamping of planets, starts and more UI fixes?
Another major question here has been, what about fixing what is already there like gang invite UI issues? and, other bugs that don't need to be restated a tenth time, you know them already. Will Trinity be worked on still? Will I get to see new shiny things when this new expansion comes out along with whatever content there is? Will we be working with some of the proficised updates like planetary interaction, or ambulation. There were so many things listed in the queue to be added in. what actually is going to be added in this patch?

I guess a variant on this would be how much of this expansion (and ambulation for that matter) is going to be closed off to people running the classic interface? How far off is reduced functionality in the classic interface (as opposed to simple reduced graphical effects)?

I got a couple of questions myself:

A) In the faction warefare system, what kind of rewards are we looking at. Neo faction mods, a couple new faction ships...perhaps some ranks in the actual faction we're fighting for*Eyebrow wiggle in anticipation on this one*

B) Tasty new ships like a rumor about command frigs, the orca, or a t2 maelstrom with four more turret hard points and a butt-load of grid to go with it :D. I personally like "weapons platform" or "massive uber destruction machine of amarr ships" as the names ^_^

c) Are we gonna see some kind of jovian involvement later on in the wars as the great equalizer "They just hate every body equally and wanna mess em all up just as equally". I dun even really care(right now) about getting jove goodies, I wanna see them getting involved. They are, after all, part of the damn game at some point too. Can't just expect them to stay in their cozy corner of the universe all on there own forever now can you?

As usual this thing is on the wrong day of the week and happening at the wrong time of day for me.

Solution? Vary the time and hold it on a different day of the week each dev blog, so everyone has a fair shake at being able to listen in for a change without having to rely on after the fact recordings all the time.

ok, here's my shot at this. don't know if i'll get to listen in, but i am sure going to try.

1) if this is going to include faction warfare, is this true faction warfare, with all 4 factions going after each other, or will we have 1 alliance (minmatar+gallente) fighting the other alliance (amarr+caldari)?
2) how will faction warfare affect pilot and corp standings? do pilot/corp standings affect which faction they eventually become aligned with for the duration?
3) there were rumors about both PvP and PvE combat being available for the factions. are PvE missions available and will they count towards the faction wars?
4) speaking of duration... how long is this war expected to last? to the next expansion? beyond? it seems kind of unfair if someone can light you up anywhere in high sec space simply because you are wandering around "playing the game the way you want to play it"
5) will piltos finally be able to join NPC corporations such as the Caldari Navy, Federate Navy, etc? there are plenty of characters out there who have high standings with their NPC corps that they have been running missions for, but we can never join them, although we can join other NPC corps.
6) is there any possibility of being able to take part in missions where member(s) of the NPC corp will "help" us? in this regard, "help" means the corp has an issue for which they need a pilot to command a small group of friendly ships. once complete, the friendly ships disappear when the mission is completed and turned into the agent.
7) what is this about scores? faction points used to tally wins and losses in the grand scheme of things? sounds kind of like preparations to open Ahn'Qiraj in WoW...

Spoken word is a terrible way to disseminate information to a bunch of people. Especially when it's full of intricate details, statistics, or figures that have more use than emotional impact.

Some reasons to stick with text:

Try running a pronunciation checker on your stream of meat-encoded sounds. Alternatively, try running a spellchecker on your text.

Saves time for both the presenter and the reader. Nearly everyone can read much faster than you can talk, so it wastes a lot of time. Not to mention dead air where nothing is said. Pauses required due to the requirements of communicating via spoken word. Time spent downloading is also a factor.

Not everyone can listen to a lengthy audio track. Everyone who can access the site can access the text. Problems introduced by flash plugins, media players, and large downloads are all avoided by using plain old text. Try googling "library of congress" and see how many times it's used as a measure for being able to fit a large amount of information on some media or other. Note how it's always assumed to be text? The audio version would be unmanagably huge and a poor repository of knowledge. If you don't think this is a factor, just wait for the clamor of posts asking for a transcript of the irritating blob of bytes that is your "podcast".

An audio presentation is a stream of words. It's very difficult to go back a part you heard previously in case you forgot it. There's a reason we still have books and not just audio formats. Even some of the best media players don't provide an easy way to seek to the previous sentence due to the vague analog nature of meat-encoding.

Crap, what did he say that the armor resistances on that ship were going to be changed to? It think it was about a minute it two minutes ago? Due to the stream format there's no reliable way to quickly and easily search a body of meat-encoded knowledge. Try it with text, it's trivially easy.

In conclusion, please get off the bandwagon full of wannabe hipsters that are "veeblogging" or "podcasting". We grown ups use text.

1. Is there anything in particular that you want us to test when we try it out? Maybe you can put up a forum post in the Game Development section with a checklist of things to make sure they work?

2. Will we have a new mirror of skills right before then? (I might be able to fly a new class of ships by then, etc.)

I want to try out factional warfare to see what there is for us more "idustrial" types to contribute to the war as all big wars have a large logistics need :D

Not to be critical of live blogs and all, but woudn't you be able to convay more information if each person that was going to the live broadcast instead just spent 30 min writing a small blog answering the question. They could also add anything they felt was missed by the question and should be touched on.

I really don't understand the live blog thing as the hour only manages to give just a snipped of the information, or so it seems to me.

Rigs that doesn't cost 1000 times more then the ship itselve but might just gave very little bonus like 3% or 5% more cargo/speed/weaponbonus.

When will the now almost 6 months old EVE Premium ship models finally be accompanied by enthralling environments and sparkling fresh effects that do them justice?

Will these new environments and effects be in The Empyrean Age expansion, as announced when Trinity came out (I remember something along the lines of "You'll get that in the next expansion" when people started complaining about planets and skies still looking same old same old - correct me if I'm wrong), or will we have to wait until the Ambulation expansion?
