I think a few are getting a bit off-topic, asking about fixes, though I did laugh a lot at the 'WoWificiation of EVE'-style comments. Since this is a new expansion and fixes are an on-going thing probably handled by a different dev team (this dev blog is hosted by Greyscale from Game Design, not Game Fixes, after all), I'd rather focus on what big changes and improvements we can expect.

I echo others' sentiments that please, for the love of all that is holy, post a transcript!

1. What major features will the expansion feature, beyond the one that everyone is talking about, namely Factional Warfare?

2. Dealing in Game Design, where do you see EVE going? What aspects of this expansion are moving towards that goal?

3. At the moment we have quite a schism between 0.0 and empire space in terms of mind-set & player-base. How are you going to satisfy both camps? What does this expansion bring for both those groups?

4. A controversial question: Statistics show that 0.0 has quite a low take-up; there is certainly a large empire player-base that is of the low-risk mentality. Which is CCP going to cater for primarily in the future?

5. How will existing missions fit with factional warfare? They're currently dull and repetitive, with dumb NPCs, but can change your standings, is this going to change?

6. How will existing belt rats fit with factional warfare? They currently attack those with good standing to them, and you never see patrols or fleets of the opposing faction.

7. Continuing on from that, what benefit will I get if I sign up for a faction? From a selfish perspective, what's in it for me? If it's just an excuse to PvP, another way to grind standings, then that's fun and all, but not very beneficial. What is going to fund this PvP jaunt, lost modules etc.? Are empire ships actually going to do something useful towards me, like say, help me?

8. Will we finally see NPC fleets? For all their posturing, the empires seem to field a few ships at gates; I rather expected them to take a more active interest in the goings-on in their space, particularly current low-sec.

9. What current ships may change with this expansion? Amarr Navy Apocalypse and new frigate, in particular, are of interest.

10. Much talk there is of PvP - what are those of us interested in support roles, rather than participating, going to get? Miners, industrialists, inventors, the people that make the PvP possible, what are they getting out of this? In particular, are they going to stay stuck being unable to sell to particular sides only?

Iím looking forward to the expansion. I am most curious about the affects of faction warfare on player corporations.

1) If a corporation joins one faction, do the corporationís POSís become war targets to the other side?

2) Will the faction warfare be limited to star systems of specific security levels?

3) If an individual pilot joins faction warfare, but his corporation does not, how does his faction combat affect aggression flagging for his corpmates?

4) What happens if one silly corp member signs up for one faction, then his corporation decides to join the other faction?

5) If a corporation or player joins a faction, do the other sidesí stations become off limits, or is that handled through the faction status system?

5) How often can one change sides? Can one assume that I can not just spot a weaker ship in system, join a faction, blow up that ship, then quickly switch back to neutral?

5) What rewards will there be for individuals and corporations, beyond the joy of blowing up the neighbors?

Thanks for the opportunity to have some of our curiosity satisfied early.

80% of all ships I've lost in that game is because I couldnt activate any module or even interact with my ship - are you planning to do anything about it? ;)

I'm doing couple missions yearly, only couple because they are repetative, are you planning to introduce some mechanism which will create some randomisation in mission system?

Can you fix overview interface pls?

Are there be any nerfs to current ship hulls ?

Can you add more explosion effects ?

Fix myrmydion pls ;)

I really think there should be some kind of dev blog released about the expansion so we KNOW what kind of questions to ask about it. This is the first time I have really heard about there being an expansion named Empyrean Age.

Perhaps list some of the upcoming changes and additions?

I for one can't wait to hear the voices in EVE talk. it brings the humanity to the game. A transcript would seem seem obvious, and i'll try to keep up with the spoken word...


Will this open new Mission's based on the faction?

How will fleeting up work, open or invite only?

What immunities are granted. eg: say EVE Player corp decs another, then joins a 'faction,' will the corp still be targets to the corp they decced, and vice versa?

I hope that Empyrean Age offers something for all players and not just those with a pvp style of gameplay. In particular;
- new mining and industry options/ships etc
- T3/Jove ships and technology availability
- Customising ships (dare I ask about ambulation? Surprised)

Wouldnt having pvp in high sec for factional warfare create alot of lag? Or are there going to be specific systems where we pvp? Id hate to have every system be like jita just because we wanted carebears to do a little pvp.

2. Please can we have an official text describing major features of the expansion? At least some brief description of it.
3. Should we expect some improvement in npc AI or it will be just new static plexes (aka battlegrounds) filled with swarm of borring, mindless npc flying around?

Q. What nerfs (or "boosts"/"rebalancing") are you implementing that you haven't dared written any devblogs on yet. For instance, is the falcon getting it? Nano? Are you "rebalancing" the heavy interdictor or doing other things that we will whine about on the forums for the coming months?

My main concern, is that the overview issue ( drone window pushing overview and selection windows off screen ) And Fleet window issues are addressed. The are still horrible since Trinity 1.1. Will the CRTL + Overview freeze the overview (as Tuxford mentioned its one of those ideas that was brilliant in simplicity)

WASTE Calculations on manufacturing. Will this patch bring promised changes to manufacturing?

Im have 2 Questions the first one is do u fix the Sentrygunbug at the Stations in low sec,
for example if u dock with aggresion and then u wait too get ur aggresion gone, u still will be shoot from the Sentrys at the Stations.

The second one is can we get pod killmails with implant details on the killmail?

Will there be any new titans in the shape of a teddy bear or turtle? Or a teddy bear riding a turtle? A teddy bear with a turtle shell would also be good.

Except for mining barges, I feel we non-pvp players rarely get ships to fly in eve.

How about a ship with infinate warp stability to balance out the heavy indictors with infinate points? We need more balance in this game!

In the latest video from tentonhammer, several different stargate models were shown. Are these just going to be soem different look stargate models thrown in for flavor?

Or are they going to be something different, not just another stargate?

OK, just so it might be easier to ask informed questions instead of the shotgun affect with the questions so far, why don't you post what the expansion will contain, and let us go from there? Would narrow the focus, and make for a more organised approach/forum during the discussion day.

2)Will the demand on gfx be higher like with the premium content for trinity?
3)reading an asc interview you are able to opt-in to the faction of your choice or your corp can opt in. How will this work if i personally choose caldari yet my corp chooses gallente will i have to leave the corp?

are you going to fix the client issues for those who still have problems with client crashes / lockups before even considering releasing new content that will more then likely have even more bugs??
