Not trying to be mean, really. But it's called an MMO for a reason.
Sooner or later you'll hopefully find a small, friendly corp.

Do you have anything you wish to see changed/improved in the game? Maybe you run missions and would like them to be more interesting (with both a bigger variety of missions, as well as more interesting/intelligent behaviour from the NPCs). Maybe you want the user interface to be improved? These are examples of issues I support - and I know I am not alone in doing so.

I admit that, because a lot of players play in corporations, a focus might seem to lie on that aspect, but keep in mind that the CSM players arent getting elected to push THEIR agenda and ideas, but to discuss and work on ideas put forth by the community. Ofcourse their personal views of the game, and the future of the game influence their discisions, but the CSM candidates are many and their opinions vary a lot.

If you think about what YOU would like to see changed. And then look at the candidates to see if any of them feel similar. You can even ask us questions! :D

I don't really have an answer but rather a question. Wtf do you do when you play Eve by your lonesome? I solo missions or whatever sometimes or rat, but I can't imagine just being all alone.

In my opinion, "solo" it " not joining to any corporation ". And it is interesting to me too, that candidates think of it.

For the longest time I was a solo player, as I was the first in my group of friends to "discover" EVE Online. To this day I spend a great deal of time soloing missions and mining by myself. This doesn't mean that there weren't things that bothered me, or things I thought could have been improved. Something as simple as how the Repair Shop interface works might be something you've got a suggestion to improve.

There are many candidates, and many words written about each one. It can be tough to determine who is the "right" candidate for you. I can tell you this, I for one, am not interested in broad sweeping changes that are going to impact the play or feel of EVE. My greatest interest is to keep everyone's head screwed on by sticking to the "does EVE really need this?" mindset.

I wish you luck.

As far as gameplay goes, I am pretty much a solo player in anything but PvP. And I will try my best to keep solo play as viable as it currently is by preventing any nerfs to the cornerstones of solo play as I see them, mainly L4 missions in highsec and n00bcorps as safe haven against non-suicide PvP.

Eva Jobse AKA Ankhesentapemkah sounds like the candidate you're looking for.

Check here and here and see what you think.

I'll second Eva Jobse. Or Dierdra Vaal, whom has a very generalist campaign that could loan itself well to most any niche.

where is the difference between solo and empty corp chat?

all of us do solo things in between.

changes to the PVE environment etc affect you as well as the corpies who can hug each other daily.

there does not need to be a special "solo player" program, unless you think solo players have a specific problem other but socializing :)

As a member of an NPC corp, I can relate to playing this game solo. However, everything you do, from mission running to the market to mining, ties you in with the other players in eve.

I believe I will represent both the solo player and the group player in this game. I can't do anything, however, until I am elected, and I'll need your help in doing that.

Why not Darius?

I do all my industrial operations alone, and I have spend months solo pvp'ing 90% of the time. It's quite much better than being in a fleet where the FC shouts at you while shooting a POS.

pvp requires at least 2 players and is by definition not solo :)
(j/k i know what you mean)

This game is about teamwork. but you can get along solo, you can mine alone mission alone and
kill NPC rats alone. Lets get serious, what is the problem for the solo player?

If there are some, they should be named.

Many problems can be overcome by creating a team, and i assume thats where ccp wanted it to go.

I have one problem. It is the slogan: " We kill neutrals". To me to not like, when kill neutrals. It is possible to replace it the slogan with any another? For example: " We kill you because we would like it"
