We will handle it. I don't view Hydra as a joke. I also don't really care that much about what the rest of Eve thinks. I won't quit when the going gets tough like some of these other ex-hydra posting. We have a lot of good people and most of the time we quite enjoy each others company.

So don't feel sorry for us, we choose to be in Hydra and we are proud to be in Hydra.

What you are failing to understand is that the vast majority of hydra players do not actually want to pvp. They have good rating space and know that as long as MM/RAZOR/PURE are around they are not in any serious danger of losing it.

Even when MC/BOB had knocked RAZOR out of its space and it was looking like the north was scrwed, Hydra made no real efforts to step up its participation in the North... Hell you guys still had to get through MM before they were in danger. I remember being part of 15-20 man Hydra "reinforments" joing 150+ gangs of MM/RAZOR guys.

The same story unfolded when MM/RAZOR/PURE began taking back space from the New North, Hydra did next to nothing, even smash/kill having to jump up from Geminate usually doubled or tripled Hydra's contribution to the fleets.

Ultimatly the lack of a pvp culture means that pvp corps don't stick around in Hydra and when they go the few people in other corps that do pvp leave with with them. Bottom line Hydra has always had bad fc's because they don't fight enough for anyone to get the experience needed to become good.

But yeah I still a have a few friends in Hyrda, and I know some of them are solid fc's/pvpers and I hope they take advantage of this leadership gap to step up and make the alliance a respectable force. The honest truth is Hydra has decent space and its home systems are well protected so there is no reason for them not to bite the bullet get in fights, lose ships, and learn how to conduct fleet warfare.

Will they, probably not.

Wow, so I had my 15 minutes of fame in eve I guess. Gashon, I'm sorry but since this mess seems to be partially because of my rant on alliance forums, I'm going to respond. I usually don't troll on these forums and hope it can be overlooked.

I'm requesting a subpoena on eve-files.com and CCP for the personal details of whoever uploaded that screenshot, as it's a clear case of copyright infringement. Try keeping your spies now..

Jokes aside, I guess it's known what I think already of certain ... elements... in hydra. However, for those that hasn't gotten it, hydra actually has quite a few good PVP'ers. Unfortunately they, maybe I should we, are disorganized as hell and horrible morale's been spreading, which makes hydra loose the good pvp'ers that join one after another. **** happens, I hope it'll change though.

For another matter totally though, I'd like to discuss what someone said about ex-cruel intentions joining "the worst alliance in eve". I can only guess you're refering to us in grey council as noone else has joined them. Why did we do it? We get to fight, and we get to fight real fights every day and every minute if we want to.
We barely even have to leave our home system to do it. And we don't go around for hours looking to "fight" 3 month old sissies in a ratting ship with noone helping them as most of the people in this thread do on a daily basis. We get to fight people who go out looking seriously for a fight, and that are damn good at it, and often under catastrophically bad circumstances. Yet we still manage to maintain decent efficiency ratings.

I think that says more about greyc than of you. I'm happy we joined hydra, even though I get f***ing mad at it at times.

I still recall the Trillo report "Lemmings inbound" This was hilarious we had an amazing laugh. Then 1 by 1 actually Hydra was jumpin in our camp and it was like playing lemmings and we were all like , omg when are they sending in the diggers.........here comes a suicider. pop pop. After decision was made to jump in on their terms they log and as mentioned we start lemming their offline fleet. You can imagine the trillo lemming laugh, it was complete.

Funny thing is, and I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but there was 20 or so Evoke BS coming for us 1 jump behind, so now trapped in the middle heavily outnumbered/gunned we were faced with a choice....take on the 20+ evoke BS or the 110 Hydra. We took the easiest option and went for the 110 Hydra. Hydra lost so many ships but had u stayed and fought the outcome might have been very different. Hydra do have some decent pvpers but the leadership sux.
