Tranquility will be undergoing a hotfix from 1100-1400 on Friday, March 14 so we can resolve issues arising from the deployment of the Trinity 1.1 booster patch.

As reported in our earlier News Item new player missions have been disabled for 24 hours and this hotfix will eliminate the issues with them. We will also be fixing the problem with Civilian Codebreaker/Analyzers and Archaeology.

Please remember to get your character our of harm's way and set a skill long enough to cover the downtime prior to logging off.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

And as a not so new player, are you working on any of the other issues such as the massive frame rate drops that currently make the game unplayable?

Is the issue of second client crashing/hanging while pressing Alt-Tab is also fixed in this patch as that is very inconvenient for dual account holders.

For my part, I'm hoping that the nasty bug where my entire UI is neatly stacked in a pile in the middle of my screen every time I undock is handled.

That bug makes me look for other things to do.

Also check the status of hidden plexes being spawned in regions of local system that r out of reach of racial probes. Example would be 50au away from any warpable object or path in between from warpable objects. Like spawning 200 au downwards. Mulitspec shows objects but nothing is findable with designated plex in space.

Second the call for patch notes so we can see exactly what is deemed important enough to fix in this first go around of fixes.

Yeah, it will take a little time to type up, but surely there is SOMEONE at CCP who isn't typing. Wink

Let's hope they will at least "fix back" our Tab button and repair the frame rate issue. I must agree with some other posts, why fix something that's not broken? Like this tab button or having only 3 resolutions now, which was important for some laptop users, and many other stuff. Maybe i missed something in the blogs, in that case im sorry.
There's just no point in arguing about whether it was a nerf or boost, we all have to live with those changes, but these technical thingies can make the game worse or unplayable and noone wants that.

another bug i experienced: coming out of the station, right clicking in empty space twice did not usual menue of gates, stations etc, but only the possibilities like when selecting right-clicking a ship or a station in vicinity.

cheerios and get some sleep, hopefully... :) at least sometimes in the near future...

I guess my subtle humor failed miserably for most. It's a hotfix, so yeah, no patch notes required obviously. I was actually giving them hell over how slow and delayed they were with the 1.1 notes. Oh well... better luck to me next time. I was just trying to find SOMETHING to laugh about. Cheers anyway! Good luck on fixing the fixes CCP!

Please, please, please let the hotfix include the fix of the market quickbar back into alphabetical order as well as the overview, UI and 'alt tab' issue.

The only bug I've noticed is the overview going to the center of the screen and bring along the selected item window and the drone window. The drone window pushes half the overview and the entire selected item window out of my screen. For me this makes the game more annoying than enjoying. I'll be breathing fresh air and skiing a lot untill this bug is killed.

Yanno, alot of you are ungrateful twerps. CCP Fixed alot of the issues people like you were whining about before this patch - i.e. the items and ships tabs going blank, balance issues with certain ships, etc. Things that now work great. But like a bunch of spoiled children, you don't take the few extra seconds it takes to re-arrange your UI when you dock and instead decide to ***** about it.

Grow up and learn how to show gratitude and exercise some patience people.

Open your eyes and observe that there's a "Don't show this again" checkbox in the lower left....

I agree, people seem to forget that the folks at CCP worked for almost 24 hours straight to get this boost patch onto the servers, while all some of you are doing is whining...
But yes, there are bugs. Yes, this is normal. And yes, it will get fixed.
Now go out and enjoy real life for a few hours!

ALT + Z is your friend.

It will remove all the "brackets" or "Icons" as I like to call them from space, but leave them on the overview.

I was involved in a 50v50 last night which brought the FPS down to 1 frame ever 25 secs. As soon as I hit ALT + Z (you can do this from overview setting too) I jumped right back up to normal.

It's client side graphics lagg as opposed to server side.

Worked for me anyway.

Only thing I have noticed is a drop on FPS, and that's it. I suppose it's related to the fact we can hear engine sound of our ship? might that be adding some processing overhead over poor soundcards? dunno... Anyway for the UI I had not seen any problems that couldn't be fixed by manually re arranging windows/settings, nor for the market: I've bought and sold without problems. Will try that Ctrl+z thingy too. As for API's I've read they will be back online after todays extended DT. No big deals overall, at least on my end. Keep up the good work CCP.

You guys know the definition of the word "hotfix" I hope?

It certainly does NOT mean taking a system down, apply a fix and put the system up again. It means applying a fix whithout any downtime.

Good luck.

CCP,

all this extended downtimne that we pay for, will it be credited back to us???? i dont feel we should pay for your mistakes. I understand that problems arise but you delayed the launch for 24hours for more testing????
