As everybody knows i think how bad is the lag in eve i was thinking to this:
The ccp can have like 10-20 top servers, with heavy overclocked cpus (cryogenic, refrigerator etc) to handle the fleet batles.
Also i don't enjoy if some dudes fight on map and i can;t login on my system.
A solution for this and fleet battle also would be server virtualisation. Just keep a sistem on a virtual server and migrate the virtual server on a different hardware if he need more power or to isolate other systems.

This would require minimal code modification (if any) but CCP would have to invest some money ....
