I have recently been thinking about subscribing to E-on, but can't decide, I don't know anyone who subscribes and I don't know much of what is in it, from my various spurts of hunting for info I keep getting mixed reviews of it.

I just wondered if anyone out there has subscribed and would like to offer a suggestion on whether they love it, or wish they had that $55 to spend on other things?

Thanks for your time,
Nimmo

If you love your EVE youll love E-ON.

Before i had it in my hands i thought it was going to be pointless and expensive, but i was proven massively wrong and continue to be with every issue. A very good quality product in my opinion, and well worth the subscription.

Magic guys, thanks for that, my order has now been placed starting with issue 10, so that I have one to read before next month's comes out.

Oh yes, this thread reminded me to subscribe again! So now I am soon the happy owner of Nr 10 and the Nr 11,12 and 13 when they hits the market!

Careful, though. If you subscribe to it, and it's good then they'll probably nerf it down to one sheet of A4 and call it a boost. Rolling Eyes

If you can afford it buy the back issues--they are well worth it.

I bought the first 3 or 4 issues of EON and wasn't impressed. Not worth the money, imho.

I had considered that, but I don't know as some/much of the content in them will likely not be relevant and I don't think I want to spend about 60 trying to read them all and then having to hunt (unless it is fairly obvious) to see if the info is still relevant.

I vaguely remember seeing some comments that some of the issues that came out shortly after Revelations were still suggesting fittings from before it was launched. But, hey, if I win the lottery, which will be tough since I don't play, I will order some of the more recent back issues.

However, if there is a lot more to them than just in game stuff then I will actually consider it more, I will wait until I have read through issue 10, which was sent out today.

Since I am randomly nattering away now, I see that the publishers are UK based, are the magazines printed and sent out from the UK too? (Wondering if I will have any chance of getting it this weekend)

One of the most worthwhile investments in Eve was my subscription to EON. Lots of decent articles on stuff like mission running, managind POS, Fleet Combat, Probing etc etc.

If you can't get enough Eve, E-ON is a great buy. Quality product.

If I could ask anything, it'd be for more hard info on ship builds, strategies, etc.
