ok i need some help if you guys are willing
i am trying to do low sec pvp with my corp but my loadout just isn't working
i was trying to speed tank in a vexor and have my drones do the damage but it isn't cutting it
heres what i have, please recommend some armor tanks unless you think i can get away with a speed tank
[high]
1x med energy neutralizer, 1x med nos
[medium]
1x 10mn microwarpdrive 1x cap booster w/1xcap 800 charges and 10 in cargo 1x warp disrupter
[low]
1x local hull conversion inertial stabilizers 1 3x local hull conversion nanofiber structure 1

currently my top speed for orbiting at about 5000 meters is at like 800 m/s but i keep getting hit

edit: forgot to mention, i have 3x heavy drones (currently ogre 1's) to do my damage for me since i have no turrets on my ship

well... im no nanoexpert.. but orbitting in (overloaded) webrange with zerotank doesnt sound to comfortable to me.

also, if youre going into such a tight orbit with a cruiser that hasnt every bit of luxury and comfort ripped out (ie. is nanoed up like mad with polycarbs and istabs) you will loose tons of your straight line speed.

first settle for a wider orbit.

then toy around with the lows, maybe swap a nanostructure for an overdrive.
maybe youd need to cram a cpr in there. (since i guess overloaded webrange is about medsized nos/neut range, so its likely youll run into cap problems)

I don't think Nano Vexors work all that well, although here is a setup I just made on EFT which I think would work better than your current one.

[High]
4x 150mm Railgun II
1x Whatever (nos, whatever, your choice)

[Medium]
1x 10mn Microwarp drive
1x medium capacitor booster (800's loaded)
1x warp disruptor

[Low]
3x Overdrive I
1x Nanofiber I

[Drones]
Ogre I x2
Hammerhead I x2
Hobgoblin I x1

This drone setup will give you more damage than just 3 Ogre I, although if your drones skill isn't level V obviously it isn't going to work, in which case your setup works just fine.

With this, don't orbit at 5000m. Anyone with a stasis webifier (which is any non nano PvP'r who you actually know is non ******ed enough that there is a vague chance they might have even fitted stuff to their ship) will lock you down and proceed to tear you apart.

A damage Control can also be used instead of the Nanofiber, giving you more Effective Health for when you get unlucky shots onto you.

I'd actually recommend dropping trying to make this thing into a nano unless you want to sink millions into rigs and have great skills, in the time being you could go with a more tank setup, such as this one.

[High]
4x Light Neutron Blaster II
1x Med Nos

[Medium]
1x Warp disruptor
1x Stasis web
1x Capacitor Booster (800's)

[Low]
2x Med Armor Repairer II
1x Small Armor Rep II
1x Damage Control I
1x Armor Explosive Hardener (can easily be swapped for an Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane)

[Drones]
As Above

Well, have fun with it however you decide to go.

Vexors are usually to heavy and slow to nano, and with good skill you only get around 2km/sec. (unless you rig it which is not worth it)

Plate setup:

4 Light neutron II's
1 small neutralizer or salvager (:

MWD
Web
Disrupter

Small armor rep (or Named Medium Armor rep if you have decent powergrid fitting skills.)
1600MM plate
Energized Adaptive nano Membrane
Damage control unit

5 Hammerheads and a mix of hobgobs and warriors

Aproach, lock, Keep at range, Engage target, F1-F4.

Works like magic (:

I had a NanoFit on Sisi, BUT you need to be very selective with targets. Caracal will Kill you, most turret ships I could kill, but if it was say a rupture or thorax make sure you kill the drones 1st.
If you are in a gang you should have no probs. My setup was (iirc)

4x 150mm Rails (use ammo to get around 20kmish range)

t2 MWD, t2 24km Point, t2 Medium Cap booster (or named).

2xOverdrive 2, 1x Nanofibe 2, 1 Istab 2.

You do need to use t2. It isnt the fastest but flown Manually it works quite well. Also be wary of stabbers as you have no tank at all.

DO not orbit at 5000m, you wil be webbed and dead. Stay around 15km for orbit. Use 5 Medium drones instead of Ogres, they will get to target quicker, kill annoying frigs better and come back to you quick when u have to run away.

TBH a Plated vexor as posted above is more effective and easier to use. Nano is fun mind you.

nano vexors are not all that good, also your really shaking off one of the main roles you can use.

here is a good setup which you can use as long as your enginerring is lvl 5 .

highs 5 "knave" small nos.
med: mwd, scrambler, web (named prefered)
lows: med repper (named) 1600mm rolled tusgen, dcu and enam.
drones: 2 ogre1 or 2s, 2 med drones and 1 small, also 5 small in your bay for faster ships(mimatar prefered since they are the fastest)

your basicly a tackler with 7k armor. if you orbit at 2500 to 5000 you can perma nos and run your web, scambler and med armor repper indefinantly till you die. you will gain nos as soon as your cap is less than your target. use your drone combo on anything cruiser or bigger and your small drones on quick ships.

tackling also will aid your group into popping ships faster since webbing em down lets bigger ships rip thru the small ones.
now if you have enginering to lvl 5 , also the implant that gives you 3%powergrid, you can fit this to your vexor.
highs: 3 knave small nos, 2 prototype nos
mid: y overcharged micro, 1 warp scrambler 2 and 1 x5protoype webber(or better)
lows: 1 med repper 2 , 1 1600mm rolled tust 1 dcu 2 and 1 enam 2.
the fit will be a perfect powergrid fit.
This fit gives you better survivability than the other although it is the same. the drones will be the same setup but tech 2s.

This setup lets you live long enough for backup to arive and your friendly ewar ship can save you on time^^. try it out. way better than attempting to nano somthing that even drones can catch.

High:
4x Light Neutron Blaster II
1x Empty highslot (Salvager/Tractor Beam/Offline small remote rep)
Medium:
1x Web (best named that you can afford)
1x 10MN MWD I
1x Disrupt
Low
1x 1600mm Plate
1x DCII
1x EANMII
1x Named MAR (II won't fit)
Drones
2x Ogre I/II
2x Hammerhead II
1x Hobgoblin II
5x Warrior II

Works nicely in gangs for me, It requires AWUII I think, I have a +3% PG implant so I use a MARII instead of the best-named. Quite good at tackling BC's/BS and holding in there with the plate while friends come to help. It also puts out a pretty impressive amount of dps too.

My nano vex, gets used mostly in 0.0. I find I last much longer after being primaried going 2k / sec than orbiting slowly with a big heavy plate on me. I also escape death much more often. And when I do lose one its only a Vexor so I dont feel like chewing my hand off.
