Am curious to hear about folks first and best kills. Not that long since I lost my E-virginity and am curious to hear stories.

First kill: down in outer ring or somewhere, YouWhat space in a Manticore. Saw a cyno pop up so I warped to 100km and sent a few cruise towards the T1 frig who popped it. Flashy flashy goes the kill mail. Rinsed and repeated 20 minutes later Smile

Best kill: camping a gate in low sec in a drake with a mega for company, and a Raven jumps through. Locked, started hitting it. Offered a 100m ransom in local, whereby someone commented that it was a very cheap offer for a CNR.

Did a proper Disney style double take, gobsmacked to see it was a CNR. No reply in local so we popped it. Was grinning for days afterwards Smile

So who's next?

This is going back quite a while, on a different character also...

My first kill was when I was about 9 months old. Had never really done any pvp before, but my corp happened to be in the phoenix alliance, the original one (didn't mean anything at the time of joining ofcourse). Anywho, our CEO logs on one day and informs us that we're all going up North to fight against some guys called Evol, M0o, Shinra etc.

So I'm drafted into the Great Northern War in my Tristan. 1st day up in 6nj, I undock to an Evol rifter. Ahah, the element of suprise. A fight ensues, and my heartbeat is off the scale as he goes down. Woohoo, I think to myself, as 3 enemy cruisers fly in nd **** all over my parade.

Best kill(s) was flying with FTpolecats around ingunn few years ago. There was always 2 mining armageddons in the system next door, but we could never catch the sneaky logoffing bastards. One day, flying through in my newly fitted Deimos, I caught them by chance. By chance i also had 2 7.5km scramblers fitted. My joy was emense as they both went with a satisfying bang.

Heh, I remember my first kill. Me and a good friend started playing ever together, and after a few weeks in the noobcorp being, well, noobs we decided to go into lowsec and kill something. Geared up 2 Incursi, and started hopping belts nad playing with scanner. After abut an hour we hadn't found much, and then we found us a mining velator! Killed it (suprise surprise), and went to station to dock (this is before all that warp to zero nonsense), and learned a valuable lesson in sentry guns Laughing

Most of my best kills weren't kills at all. Got a Rattlesnake pilot to eject, ransomed a Rorqual for 1.5b, Ransomed some dreads for 2b+ each. Stuff like that.

Probably the single most fun kill to date, the most satisfying was chasing a cormorant with a gist b-type large shield booster 23 jumps through high sec, finally getting him targeted, and then having *another* high sec gank gang pop him, so we killed the gank gang's loot ship before he could scoop the shield booster. All of our hard work paid off as I scooped the booster and cloaked in my Helios. It was a tense hour or so chasing that guy down. YARRRR!!

Ive only had one kill so far and that was last night.

I had just returned to a station in low sec after killing some rats with my Myrmidon and see a guy dock at the station, so then i unload my salvaged stuff in the station and undock agein, now i check who he is and see the guy has acually played a year longer then me which makes me a bit worried, but i deside to stay and try my luck. After about 2 mins of camping a friend from my corp warps in next to me, i hadent seid what i was doing but he seem'd to figure it out and stayed there to.
5 mins go by and we just watch the station and then he comes out in an Anathema, i immidietly try to lock him and manage to after like 10 secs (we had a great laugh about why he didnt manage to warp out in that time) and then i hit warp scramble and he is stuck in the trap, 5 secs later my friend gets a lock to with his Raven and we fire all we have at it. The Anathema managed to get out of my scramble range rather fast but not my friends so after like 10 more secs he goes poof.
At the point where he went poof i had to warp myself, im rather new so im not very good yet which resulted in me taking quite a bit of damage from the sentries hehe.

That was my first and only kill so far and it was fun, probally not much when you consider what many here have killed, but have to start somewere. Best drop was Covert Ops Device II so a nice pay for first kill.

Sry if my english is a bit lacking, im still learning english to hehe.

EDIT: Seems im new to forums to now its posting with my alt, how do i change that? my main is named Elyrien.

Ahh my most fun and exciting kill was one of the first times i ventured into metro low sec, auner. I gotten fed up by mishies so i went to do some belt ratting in my rupture.

Getting to the last belt i found a best named t1 dmg control so i go dock up and fit it replacing the cheapo t1 i had. So i undock and continue ratting and at one point i got jumped by a thorax. I didnt have scram fitted but i got locked down and scrammed fast and turned all my guns on the rax. (imagine this being your first ever rupture with crappy t1 harderners/guns/everything)

Fight ensued for a good 2 mins before we both hit hull and at 5% hull left the rax went pop. So that lil dmg control i foudn a moment earlier saved me ;)

Ty Fisalia for that great fight o7 i think that was the most adraneline inducin g fight ive ever had.

First kill was a Merlin in otou (sp) not the one near rancer the one nears hysera

Best kill was a hulk in Solitude that caused lots of E-rage

Most heart breaking kill was a badger filled with domination disruptor's and webs. I've been camping that route ever since and I've never gotten a haul like that ever again.

Had a griffin and rifter following my rifter across a few system while I was belt yarring. I kept warping in and out trying to split them up which eventually worked. Griffin came in on scanner coming inbound with me just barelly taking out the first rifter. Left just long enuff to rep some armor swung back in and had a 5 min fight with the griffin Laughing. Both of those pilots where very capable pirates so I was pretty happy about it. Of course there's honor tanked BC's and PvP nights for miners united but most of those fights aren't a lasting story.

My first kill was about 5 months after I started playing. I was mining in highsec on my alt Mad when one of the local can jackers decided to stop by, flipping my half a can of kernite in his Ferox. I had never been jacked before while mining, and quickly decided that I wasn't going to tolerate it.

I hopped to the system next door where our corp was based and hopped into my Brutix, only to find that it was completely unfitted. I hit the corp hangar tab and relieved it of anything that would be of use. The corp hangar was comprised purely of rat/mission loot that other pilots didn't want, and as such the pickings were thin. I still to this day remember MOST of the fittings I had on. 3x medium rails, 2x small rails, 1x medium blaster, 1x small blaster. Mids I had an afterburner, 7.5km scram, web, and one empty. Lows I had a SMALL armor repairer, kinetic hardener, adaptive plating, 100mm plate, and a 200mm plate. To this day it is still the worst fitting I have ever PvPed in.

I warped back to the belt I had been mining in to find that the Ferox had vacated the premises. I decided to sit there a few minutes to see if he came back, and no surprise, he did. The aggression countdown had expired while I had been fitting my ship, so I dropped a can. My corpmate, hearing what was going on, hopped into his Prophecy and started making the journey to where we were. He was 5 jumps out, before WTZ, and we were too noob to have made instas, even in our home pocket of space.

I bought as much time as I could after the Ferox took from my can. I launched drones and targeted him, but then did nothing more than bump him a few times and orbit him for 5+ minutes. Finally, when I figured he was getting bored and about to leave, I opened fire, with my corpmate still 3 jumps away.

It was a surprisingly even fight, considering my sh*t fittings. both our characters were about the same age, and he was actually fitted for PvP, so by all rights I should have got laid out. But by the time he tore through my shields, I had chewed through about 25% of his. He hit my armor, and my tank wasn't holding, but the ship wasn't evaporating the way I thought it would. I continued to nibble away at his shields, and finally hit his armor as he had mine at about 50%.

My corpmate entered system as I hit 25% armor left. The Ferox had 50% armor left. He warped to me, and we managed to kill him as I had 25% structure left. This was the most exciting thing I had done in Eve to that date, and really changed the way I to played the game.

My best kill was probably a solo kill of a Maelstrom in my Ishtar. But that story really isn't nearly as interesting, so I'll leave it at that.

Had a good little battle just yesterday outside station in Dodixe. Earlier in the day I came out in my missioning CNR only to see a rival corp member in his Taranis lock me and start circling. We both had a bit of lag due to another battle going on outside station so decided to call it off til later.

A few hours pass and again I see him on local, so I figure I'll bait a little trap. I take my old regular missioning Raven, kit it for PvP, and undock so he thinks I'm coming out in a mission ship again. He's sitting off at about 120km and immidiately comes at me. I pretend to ignore him and just wait for him to tackle.

He targets at about 20km off, and once I lock on in return I think to myself "Gotcha!" as he now finds out I'm kitted up for a fight and he's webbed and warp jammed! As I'm taking him out, another rival corp member appears on local and warps in, then another and another. So much for my little trap, they were the ones trapping me!

I'm now in a very basic PvP Raven setup, ready to take on a helpless Taranis, and I've now also got a Drake, Vagabond and Vexor locked on and slowly pummeling me. The Taranis goes pop just after the others have me locked down so there's no chance to run. I've got the Vagabond locked and well within jamming range so I start taking him down. Surprisingly his tank doesn't hold up too well and he's going down pretty quickly. I'm now deciding whether to go for the Vexor next or the Drake. The Drake is sitting off at 40km so I figure if I can take care of the Vexor I might be able to warp out.

The Vaga pops and I switch attention to the Vexor which again doesn't last too long, but the Drake uses this time to come within jamming range. As the Vexor goes down in flames I'm down to about 1/5 armour against the remaining Drake. My Damage Control II helps me out for as long as it can, but ultimately I fall to the onslaught of CN Havoc heavy missiles.

All up it was a good, clean fight. The main decision I would make differently was taking the old mission running Raven out for PvP as it was fitted with 3 CCC rigs! Should have just bought another Raven for the fight at hand. Although I am left wondering how my Astarte would have held up, I didn't use it because I wanted the Taranis to think I was on my way to run a mission. Guess I'll find out next time!

First kill: Got jumped by an Arbitrator while ratting in my Myrmidon in Misiba, I think. The guy must have been drunk or something because the fitting was pretty comical, looking back on it.

Best kill: a few weeks ago I somehow managed to kill a typhoon in a vexor. That was pretty cool.

First kill: scorpion in low sec

Best kill: I had been hunthing this mission runner in low sec for around a week, I enter the mission area the third time in a week and finally scramble him. I ransom during the kill and we agree on a 400 million ransom. He pays, I let him go and I warp out. Then I notice on directional scanner that he did not make it out alive. I feel bad about it and convo him, apparently the rats had him scrambled. Anyway, he warps to a station without bookmarking his wreck and turns in the mission O_O. He asks me to help scan out his wreck and so I scan it out (He had some drones which somehow survived) and find a gist-x type x-large shield booster and faction stuff worth around 2.5 billion isk. I pay him back the ransom and leave happy :D. He was a great sport and even sent me the killmail.

First Kill:
Went into lowsec about 3 weeks into the game with 2 RL mates who where staying over at the time, i was flying a Moa, my friends where a stabber and a rifter. I warp to a belt in a .3 and an incursus locks me and attacks, my two friends warp in and it dies :P, we then proceeded to get mashed and pick a fight with a myrmidon, safe to say we died.

Best Kill:
well, its a long story
Me and Reyn Delkor (rl friend),we are in station dicussing PVP fits and concidering getting together for an evening of drink and eve :P. We had wardecced some random corp in umokka and all of a sudden we see a flashy in local, i send my scout out, and low and behold theres a 2004 Geddon camping our station, so i feign AFKdom, and reyn undocks in his domi, he shoots at the geddon for a few mins, before the geddon decides to pew back, the second the first shot is fired, i undock my plated neutron gank megathron, and his tank melted and he went bang. Anyway i log off and go get some beer, reyn comes over and logs, he undocks his domi and notices four flashie ravens outside our station, which start attacking, i peg it back to the PC, log myself on and undock me mega, and we are fairly sure reyn is going to loose his domi,i lock the first Raven and poof its dead, on checking the logs in the eve log program, it took 24 seconds to go pop, and its a similar business with the 2nd raven, we lock the 3rd, and its tank is a little better holds for about 50 seconds before it goes pop (dropped some phat dread guristas lewt) unfortunatly the 4th had Warp Stabs, and escaped but not before getting spanked down to armor. Still, we killed 3 battleships, made a good bit of moolah
and gave Umokka a good show :P

And that was my best kill Laughing

First kill: Canflipped a Retriever with my Rifter in a system neighbouring Tash-Murkon Prime. Really was quite intense (for me at that time at least), since I was two days old, - I just finished training Propulsion Jamming I - and he had T2 drones. I liked it. :)

Best (or funniest for that matter) kill: Had an anti-pie chase me in my Rifter (me already being outlaw at that time, while he wasn't) around in his Crow. Mind you, I have lots of respect for Crows since I saw a snaked Crow solo an outlaw Hurricane at a station, so I thought about docking up, but the evening was boring, and I needed something to do.
I let him hunt me a little, and we met at a gate I was just jumping through. So we both jumped, I lagged, and thought "****, there goes my Rifter", since he already decloaked at the other side of the gate. Then I thought "Meh, he's an anti-pie", so I stayed cloaked and waited for him to get in webrange (he was circling around the gate, really do not know why), decloaked, locked him, and what do you know, he engaged me in webrange. Web, scram, guns, AB, keep at range, toast.

Best learning experience: Was flying around with a small frig gang of new players my age (me in Rifter ofc, the other guys in Merlin and Punisher) and we got badly toasted by an Arty Wolf who we hunted around. I found out later that he hunted us too. The first hand lesson of this was that superior numbers does not outperform superior fittings and tactics.

My first day in Veto. I decided to take my shiny new Navy Megathron out for a spin.
With dreams of pirate camp breaking, kessah in his Arazu and myself set out for
Egghelende. I sat waiting 1 jump away while kessah heads into Egg and searches around
for some pirates. Alas, a corp called Newbies on Xstacy (sp?) had a 4 man camp on one
of the gates. Their ships consisted of a Tempest, Raven, Absolution and Astarte.
My hands trembled with excitement as kessah got a warp in spot on the Tempest.
I jump in and warp to kessah...

Whoosh! I come out of warp a mere 3km from the Tempest and with a big "y helo thar!" on
Vent, I open up on him. With all guns blazing and his shields dropping rapidly, Im
all sorts of high on adrenaline now. By this time, the 2 command ships and the Raven warp
to the Tempest pilot.

Jammed! Crap, that Raven has ECM on... 2 jam cycles go by and Im sitting there getting
pounded on, thinking that this may not have been a good idea. The jam drops, I relock the
Tempest and resume my barrage on him. Shields gone, into armor.... armor gone, structure gone...

Boom! The Tempest explodes and fills the void of space with chunks of it's hull.

"Tempest down!" I screamed on Vent. By this time kessah and his Arazu were dispatched as the
pirates knew how much of a threat he was and wasted him with utmost prejudice.

I turned all my guns onto the Raven, I didnt like ECM on the equation. Due to the amount
of ECM the Raven had, he didnt have much room for a decent shield tank and his Raven
succumbed to my Blasterthron's damage quickly.

"Raven down!" I screamed.

By this time all of the people in the Vent channel with me are just as excited as I am.
Their cheers and energy are really what kept me going through this fight.

My sights turned to the Astarte and Absolution, the Astarte being primary. I rip into him full
force. Of the 3 ships I have engaged so far (Tempest, Raven and Astarte), the Astarte is the most
heavily tanked. But alas, he goes down in time. Finally I turn to the Absolution. By this time
I am running dangerously low on cap charge 800s. I send everything Ive got at this Absolution, he
tanks well. My cap charges are all used up and Im running my weapons purely from the 1 Heavy NOS
I have fitted. But the destruction of the Absolution was never meant to be. With my cap all dried out
and all my modules refusing to activate, the Absolution pilot warps out to safety.

"HOLY $#%@ that was intense!" I wail on Vent. As I slowly try to come down from this high of going
4v1 against 2 battleships and 2 command ships, I try to collect loot. But hubris took over and with
no cap charges and almost no cap, I am easy pickings. The Tempest pilot warps back in with his
nossing/jamming nanophoon and makes quick work of me.

"Oh well, was a fun fight guys, enjoy the loot" I post in local.

They had only seen the first of me...

Usually when I do PvP, it is in a small (or even large) gang. Which is what made this kill so memorable.

My best kill started out with a call from a corp mate for help with an ore theif. As I was a few jumps away and in the middle of something, I didn't get their till the agression timer had run out (just missed it). I was disappointed as I had a new thorax to try out (I was new to Gallente ships, mostly having worked with Caldari ships in the past). Another corp mate was also in system in response to the distress call but he was in a Myrm.

The ore theif was still hanging around, and was quite talkative in local. He had stolen from another miner, who had returned in her BC, but who wouldn't engage him in his Hawk.

I decided that the thorax was cheap and I wanted a fight. Now I knew what a Hawk could do, as I fly one of those too. And MY Hawk setup would beat what my thorax could do, so I figured I was likely to lose the thorax, but like I said, it was cheap and I felt like a fight.

So I grabbed the book mark he was littering the belt with and waited.

And then, just as I thought he wasn't going to engage me, the red flashy! So I proceeded to lock him, while letting slip the dogs of war in the form of 5 hobgoblin IIs! That was a nasty suprise for him.

And so the dance began. At first I was worried as my rail guns fired and seemed to have little effect on his shields. Then the drones got into range, and his shields began to drop just as fast as my own shields did.

Now, those of you who know thoraxs will say "Isn't a thorax an armor tanker?" And yes it was, and so was my setup here. So with our shields droping at the same rate you understand how the battle was going. My cap was good (as I still didn't have my armor repper on) and he was warp scrambled as well, this battle had only one end now.

But then, what did he do? Instead of trying a tight orbit to out run my guns, or to run out of range of my warp scram, he heads straight for me! Now his shields are falling FASTER than mine. And then I was into armor.

Alas the perfect solo kill was not to be mine. The cowardly BC pilot, unwilling to take on the Hawk by himself, now decides when he is all but popped already, to join the fight. So in a very quick second, the fight is over, a very pretty explosion and the ore theif runs away in his pod.

Actually, our fight lasted three jammer cycles before my jamming failed and you popped me.

Hmmm...my best fight would have to be the thorax, incursus, rifter and my merlin against three rifters. It came down to the thorax and last rifter before we won, which, I think, says something of the skill of our opponents.

First kill

was myself in a rifter, a corp mate in a vexor vs a Enyo, not very exciting but it gave me a rush to PVP.

Best kill/fight

3 corp mates and myself got a little bored of out usual hauntings in Providence and we went a few jumps into the local low sec to see what we could find, none of us had ever visited that area before and didn't know what to expect. After a quick jump around belts and stations in my Phoon i warped to the next gate at 15km to see if anyone would fancy taking on a BS slow boating. My corp mate jumped ahead in his falcon to see what was next door. Sure enough a Geddon and an Apoc arrived, at first they just sat on the gate, so i locked them up dropped my drones and hoped they would aggress, and aggress they did. I gave the call over TS and my corp mate jumped back through in his falcon and my 2 buddies (both in geddons) jump in from 1 system behind. So there we were killing two flashing red bs with our 3 bs and falcon. Just as the secondary target popped another warps in and starts to take us on, followed by an another bs, then a bc, then another bs.

We kill them all easily with or superior co-ordination, but they just keep coming and we keep popping them. Next thing we know we have a Phoenix (caldari dread) warp in which lands 5km from me, he sticks his unsieged doom torps on me, webs and scrambles. His damage is poor, we continue to pop everything else that warps in while keeping our points, nos etc on the dread. At this point our falcon goes down to an astarte that manages to get position and things start to look a little shaky for us, we kill the astarte and start on the dread once again. We get him down to 40% shield and start to laugh over TS that we were gonna kill a dread with 3 battleships. They just keep coming however, finally my phoon pops to the dread, raven, hurricane and the 2 geddons de-aggro and get out. However not before we scoop the majority of the loot. This was pre invention and 2 big bellys of T2 gear was very nice. End result was 2 losses-11 or so, not once in the whole engagement did any of my gang get flagged. The fight lasted 28 minutes from the first shot till i exploded, 28 minutes of lag free fun.

Wish that happened more often, later that night we went back and got our asses handed to us. Still it was worth it.

My first kill I took on a Blaster-Rokh at a gate with my Arbitrator and won (Yea sentries!)

Unfortunately I found it difficult to top that for quite a while...

First PvP was when I fired a missile from a slasher at a kestrel in some low sec system. I didn't have a web fitted because I had been in-game for three days and didn't have prop jamming trained. The missile hit but then he warped off, which is good because there's no way I'd have survived against a retaliation. Then I jumped into high sec and got concordokkend with my criminal timer still going Laughing

My first PvP kill was also with a slasher, and against another kestrel. I had been in game about two weeks, and he'd been in for less than a day. I didn't have a scrammer fitted but I guess the idea of warping out didn't occur to him. He had like two standard missile launchers fitted and hardly any modules, probably because he had no skills or cash. I'm sure he bought the kestrel with ISK that was begged for in a starter system.
I may not be remembering this right, but I'm fairly sure my mids and low setup was as follows: shield booster and hull rep in mids, armor rep in low.

A fun kill from more recently was at a gate in TPAR during the week of the initial invasion after MC's standings flip. A Raptor either jumped in from the gate or warped to it, I forget which, but a running battle ensued over a range of 350km. BoB ceptors chased it and the heavier support (like my Ferox) would warp to friendly ceptors whenever the Raptor moved out of our range. I could hit from over 100km and was tracking comp'd up, so I took some good chunks out of the enemy before we finally took it out. It was a highly mobile fight with everyone constantly staying on their toes. Definitely more dynamic than POS sieging and 400 man fleet encounters.

My favorite kill in BoB was also my first with them. It was within a day or two after the occupation of HED-GP. An AAA gang was camping the gate to Empire, and BoB covert ops were constantly monitoring them. Our FC got the idea to send out our fastest ships in periodic lightning raids against this camp and had all the ceptor pilots identify themselves in fleet chat. I was in a Stiletto.
The call came for ceptors to warp to the gate, and I had no idea what to expect at first. My adrenaline was already going while in warp, and when I got to the gate I was just like "oh my god what are they thinking?" It was camped by at least a dozen enemy ships of all shape and size. We targeted an Eagle that the covert ops guy called primary, and we threw on our MWDs and got to work. I noticed little bits of my shield getting taken away and think "oh crap they got me now... and my clone is like 20 jumps away" but like everyone else I stuck in there... 0% shield on Eagle, 0% armor on Eagle, Eagle explodes. We're all taking massive fire from the other ships at the gate but our speed is protecting us from lethal damage. It was either the FC or the covert ops pilot, but someone in charge ecstatically shouted "okay now get the **** out of there! go go go!" I'd rarely been so relieved to enter warp.
It was awesome.

My first post-BoB kill was against a relatively new player's Punisher. I was in a Jaguar that I'd never PvP'd in before, and I was looking for a relatively easy target to test out the fitting on. I move in and throw on my Ewar (2 point scram and target disruptor.) I start to kill them and realize I haven't taken any damage. I think "wow, fitting a disruptor instead of a web was a really good move" (I should also note that I had weapon effects turned off.) I destroy them and I see their pod just kind of sitting there. I have no desire to destroy pods and as it continues to sit there it dawns on me that they were AFK the whole time. They confirmed this in a local chat convo several minutes later. It was not what I would call a worthwhile PvP encounter Mad

The very next day after that non-fight, I was running a complex in an Ishkur and someone warps in with a Rifter. I'm running out of allowed characters so I'll summarize: I have no scram, my drones still kill him before he aligns

This is probably my favorite kill:

2005.07.15 05:09

Victim: x
Alliance: Unknown
Corp: x
Destroyed: Tempest
System: J7A-UR
Security: 0.0

Involved parties:
Name: Alowishus (laid the final blow)
Security: 5.0
Alliance: Unknown
Corp: Shadow Company
Ship: Tempest
Weapon: 1200mm Heavy Carbine Howitzer I

Destroyed items:
#System, Qty: 1 (Cargo)
#System, Qty: 6
Phased Plasma L, Qty: 1 (Cargo)
Phased Plasma L, Qty: 2
1400mm Howitzer Artillery I, Qty: 1
Gyrostabilizer II, Qty: 3
Sensor Booster I, Qty: 1
Photon Scattering Field I, Qty: 1
Heat Dissipation Field I, Qty: 1
1400mm Howitzer Artillery II, Qty: 2
Large Shield Booster II, Qty: 1
Cruise Missile Launcher I, Qty: 2

It was a legit 1v1. My setup was something like this:

6x 1200mm 'Carbine'
2x Don't remember

1x XL 'Clarity Ward'
3x Named Hardener (em, the, kin)
1x Electrochemical Cap Booster

6x Damage Mod

At that point in time 1200mm were 'crap' and the a full rack of damage mods worked. I won with maybe one volley of structure left. Intense ****.

My first kill... I couldn't really say. Maybe one of them RHNVY pirates when I was with ICA, we used to go after them every weekend like clockwork.

My best kill is much easier to pinpoint. I'd just taken down a Ferox ratting in .3 in my Ishkur with a corpie in a Thrasher, and a Rapier decloaks and starts shooting me. \o/ I tank him, Thrasher gets a point + web, he goes down. His cov-ops cloak drops, and this is back when they were super expensive :) 60m in the bank please and thank you

Edit: Or that time when we flew up to Lasleinur and were trying to run the 5/10 there, and 3 local anti-pirates decided it would be a good idea to attack my CEO (who had -2ish sec status, WHAT A PIRATE) under sentry guns. Preat was in a Raven and managed to tank 2 Ravens and a Domi for quite a bit, I warped in when the first Raven went boom, me in my tach Geddon, and proceeded to light up the second Raven, and watch the Domi warp YARRRR!!

One of the best kills I've had happened last week. Me in a Rook Vs a Harbinger. I'd just toasted a thorax whilst out pirating and was sitting out my timer at an SS. See someone come into system, so I start scanning the nearby belts. 'Wow, a harbinger' I though. Don't usually take on BC's in my rook as most will be able to tank the damage. But I thought what the hell, if I cant pop him at least I can just bug out.

So I scan him down, he's just moved to a new belt. warp to 0. Land about 5km from him. Locked in a second and my points on him. Put a jammer on and he's perma jammed. Out come the CN scourges, let's see how this goes.

Shields go in a few volleys, then I start pounding his armour. He then decides he's not as safe as he thinks. Starts AB'ing away from me @ 344 m/s, my top speed is 250 m/s. So he's starting to edge away, slowly but surely. I get him down to 1/3 armour and he's now close to 20km away. 'I'm not losing this one', so I start to over heat my launchers to get some extra DPS. Few volleys and he's now at 23km away. I overheat my point to keep him from warping. By this stage my mods are on fire and I know I cannot keep this up much longer. He gets to just out of range, my last 5 missiles launch, I can see him aligning, my hand was banging the table - pop! They just did the job Very Happy

Man that was an epic fight. An examining the log, he was rigged and had mostly T2 mods on.

P.S I just remembered, whilst messing about overheating the mods I missed a jam cycle and his 5 T2 hammerheads got agro, They got me down to 50% armour in the end. RT Plate saves the day once again Razz

Ah, the early Rillacorp days.

Our first kill:

11 of us came into the game from planetside, it was january of 2005. We were 2 weeks old, all in horribly fitted frigs and with no SP at all. We were actually unaware of what you COULD do in eve at this point. We met these guys named Warpig3 and Led Vistro ... They were local carebears in placid, and warpig was kind of a ****.

We got a guy to go out with warpig and mine. He only had 1 mining laser fitted. We thought we were the first ones to think of this actually. Warpig, in a cruiser, sat there as the entire group of us swarmed in on him, and to our amazement, were able to kill him.

He didn't speak much english, he's mexican... he ranted a spanglish mix of profanities as we killed him... the 11 of us TS were absolutely thrilled. Then his friend, Led Vistro came to help, in a BC, and the group of 11 AWFULLY fitted frigs ascended on him and blew him up... then podded him. It took like a solid 10 minutes.

From then on, we were pirates.

Best Kill:

I've killed a vaga in a harpy, brutix in a punisher, etc. But the best kill we ever had was 1 month into playing the game against a group that based in Agoze named "Guardians of the V.O.I.D". Now you have to understand, we were scared to go to lowsec at this point, it was all new and exciting to us. The pack of 11 frigs went in to Agoze late one night and shot from blet to belt, eventually running in to a belt just as 10-15 battleships and miners from GVOID were moving out.

They, we later found out, thought we were an alt corp of pirates. They were warping out to get away from what they thought was well versed frig raid meant just for them. Really we had no idea what we were doing. As we hit the belt, and they flew out, we panicked. We noticed though that they left one guy, appearantly AFK, sitting at the belt alone in an osprey. His name was "Electric Shoe."

Before jetting out of the belt in fear, we all jumped on him, and slowly (sadly) killed his osprey. He came back from being afk mid way through, to find that his boys were gone, and he was alone in a belt getting killed by the lowest damage output group of frigs EVER. He said in local:

Electric Shoe > Oh wtf guys, seriously.

We slowly beat his osprey to death, and then ran in fear. It was a hell of a thrill though. We laughed for days thinking about what a shock it must have been to come back from a **** and realize that the battleship and mining op group that was around was all either gone or dead, and the angry group of ibis's and executioners were now pecking you to death.
