Ive seen some post about lack of a mid class freighter, now we kinda got it..the jump freighter, it got close to 300k m3 cargo with proper skills.

Mining got lots of love, lots of mining barges and even a mining capital.

but what about Pos mining?
I still gotto use hours filling and emtying silos (refilling towers) using my trusty Impel. it got 7 t2 expanders and 2 cargo rigs. around 36k m3, which is enough to around 2 silos worht of load. that means 20-30 trip pr week atleast, and forth in the same system to cover my pos network. Using my freighter to emtying silos is just it getting stucked and it too slow to move around.

what about either inventing a either:

A) new mobile dock port(kinda like the labs and assembly arrays are)which work as a remote refill hangar, kinda like a docking port, where u dock up ure freighter/jump freighter or other transport ship. this mobile dockport got a small crane/pipe sucking and filling the silos from that platform direcly into ure ship. Hence u doesnt have to slowboat getting stucked in Silos coupling array, tower and whatever else u might have inside ure pos shield.

b) a kinda Pos freighter. smaller cargo, like 100k or so. it got a remote tube/pipe. that u can couple it to the silos and either emying or filling em.

Jump freighters not filling the void !!!
There are too hard to train, too expensive to buy and too hard to find.

We need a new type of ship T1, with skills rank 6 (like Battlecruiser) and cost about 15-30M (like Battlecruiser).

About the small mining deploying POS, i already post something alike so i fully agree.

I agree, an indy-class ship with 150000m cargo, a dream.
