The Last week i thougt about a lot of things, which can make a corp more speciell.
One of them is the Idea from an upgradable Corp-HQ-Office.
Every HQ Office could have a different Number of Slots, which can be upgraded with Upgrade-Modules, like Outposts.
I'm not sure if buying them or renting them is the better idea, i would prefer buing.
Maybe ervery Station has 5 new Slots for Offices, if you have an HQ there, and more than 25 (50,75?) Members, you get an offer from the Stationownercorp, to buy this Office.
The Limit for bigger Corps only, is to prevent, that a lot of Alt-Corps are createt and all Slots will be gone before you can say "Can i have your stuff?".
These Upgrades will be items, maybe sold by npcs, as another isk sink, or playerproduced with BPOs, that have to be transportet to the HQ-Office, and have to be installed into the upgradeslots.
The Upgrades can't be removed without destruktion, like Implants or Rigs.
When the Corp-Hq is being transfered, maybe the Upgrades are lost or being moved, i'm not shure. But so the Decision where the HQ will be is more important.
A Simpel Upgrade, that give Access to the Hangar Logs, that are alredy in game an only visible to GMs.
An Laboratory for your Office, with maybe 8 Slots or so.
Every Slot can be used to place another scince-machine, which brings different boni an mali.
*Copy Machine: brings 1 Copy Slot. 2x time base multiplier, and + 1 for every other machine of the same type
* "Me Machine": brings 1 Me research Slot 2x time base multiplier and + 1 for every other machine of the same type
* "Pe Machine": 1 Pe Slot 2x time base multiplier and + 1 for every other machine of the same type
* "blub" : reduces time multiplier on me for -0,25, but copytime + 0,125
* "blub" : reduces time multiplier on copy for -0,25 but petime + 0,125
* "blub" : reduces time multiplier on pe for -0,25 but metime + 0,125
* "blub" : reduces time multiplier on all for -0,125
There could be Meta/Faction and later T2 variants with better stats.
- Industrial Upgrade
A small Assembly Plant for your Office.
* "Industrial Line" + 1 Prod Slot 1,5X me and pe base
* "Faster Nanobots" time multiplier - 0,25 , materialfactor +0,125
* "Better Production Technics" materialfactor -0,25, time multiplier +0,125
- Open Area
An Idea to be usefull with Ambulation.
There you can open a bar or a shop or so, without renting an extra shop slot.
Another idea is to make the scince and prod slots configurable, to make them public.
Upgrades and Machines should cost some money, cause you get "free" slots for research and production.
I can think for something around 1 Billion for the Upgrademodul and around 100-250 Mio for the machines.

Cause of that, this is all limitet to the Hq, and the slots should have horrible stats^^
In my example, if you want 1 me slot, with a good time multiplier, you have to put 7 me-research-boost machines into it, to get a 1,25 time multiplier.
So i hope they are not a real concurent for a pos, but a nice gimmick.
So a good builded HQ is more like a Titan, a nice toy, with some boni, but nothing more.
