Simple as it states. I have tried this in a variety of ships. Ever since trinity release, I can be pointed right at a stargate and see it in scanner until I try scanning at 5, or 15 degrees. I get nothing at these settings no matter what i do.

Has anyone seen this before?
Is it a known issue being worked on?

This is kind of critical for scanning things down.

Let me guess, you're aiming the scanner with your ship or by selecting your ship and using the selection box?

If that is the case, this is because the box is offset from screen center a little bit, try zooming out until you can't see your ship anymore, scanner should work fine then.

Tis very annoying. Pre trin the selection box worked for narrow scan searches now it's a complete pain in the arse.

I am pointing with my ship.

What do you mean by selecting the ship and using the selection box? What I do is point in a direction and reduce (or expand) the view angle to scan someone down. . .

Thanks for the reply btw.
