What's funny is that I see you on every EBANK thread constantly attacking and calling people "Ulf." What I find sad, however, is that I don't see your little friend. She tends to flatter me with her persistent stalking. Her name begins with a D, yes?

When I enter an EBank thread I speak for EBank. Other EBank members including Ricdic are to refrain from posting. I can't control others but I am now the appointed PR Manager for EBank.

If anyone in this thread has concerns about EBank please address them to me. I will do my best to answer question and address concerns. This particular issue I managed to get the tail end of the so called, heated discussion.

I attempted to contact the visitor with no luck, I believe our visitor was no longer at the keyboard. Expecting him to EVE-Mail me by now, I did investigate the issue with the access I have. There was no account created for this customer, which means the automated API tracking embedded in our software did not pick up a deposit.

I had and will continue to extend my offer of personal reimbursement with the customer providing their limited access key. This is the only way to verify the ISK was sent to a know Ricdic character. I will take the issue up with Ricdic if I find a transaction went to a Ricdic character or a Corporation in which Ricdic is the CEO.

I did remain in the channel for several hours later and I am unable to find the lines to which the original poster referees to. My chat logs go up to and beyond the point in which I was the last EBank Representative in the channel. Any talk that took place after my departure was not spoken by an EBank representative.

As I said, I will continue to offer the 50,000,000 reimbursement our patron. All that is required is a limited access key, and within their journal it shows a transaction that went to a known Ricdic character or a Corporation in which Ricdic is the CEO.

i thought vedz was a troll and the chatlog would be bunch of people talking about stuff.
but it turned out that they were indeed verbally abusing "the noob". i didnt expect that.

If you check who says what and where, the verbally "abusive" are clients of EBANKS and not members of its Board of Directors or its staff. I will agree though people did become more abusive as the conversation went on, but that was partly because in the abusers minds the charges were ridiculous.

I will also point out that you can see that some people were trying to be helpful, but "seeking iskies", like that name didnt doom him to ridicule saying Ricdic took his isk, wasnt very forth coming with any details with which to enable people to help him.

If there had been an error or Ricdic had scammed, a screenshot or a glimpse at the players wallet via the limited API would have solved everything. Sadly, Seeking iskies couldnt or wouldnt provide these basic things.

Do you expect to walk into your bank and get money if you just start waving your arm around and claiming you were robbed? Normally a passbook, a reciept or some such is required.

At least the API can't be faked that I know of? Chat logs can, however as I mentioned I am vouching for Treelox that the logs are true and are real. Yes there was insulting of the newbie, what do you expect when a newbie tries to concot lies we're not going to stand around and act like nothing happened... you know very well we're going to defend EBANK even if it means insulting someone because we know that what they say is untrue.

Wow....

I wish I was quick enough to do a 10,000char conversation log from scratch in an hour, with the ability to keep +7 different characters seperate in my head. Hell if I could do that I would walk the Writers Union Picket lines and go write some jokes for Jay Leno's monologue tonight, since his studio is just over the hill.

he said manipulated not created.

remember
1. read
2. comprehend
3. think
4. post

ok you win <bows>

Myself personally I couldnt manipulate it to look as smooth as it is in an hour no matter how hard I tried. If I had manipulated it or created it, do you really think I would leave the "abuse" in there, and not try and make things look all sunshine and light?

So when both Banni and Heron checked their logs and found no character by that name the person should have either contacted me directly or tried to figure out what they done wrong (sent to wrong character, corp wallet, sent from their corp wallet etc).

Instead the person ignored 3 offerings of assistance (Heron, Banni, Treelox).

Now, there is no way possible for me to steal incoming money. I can't trick the API, if someone sends money to EBANK Ricdic, it will ALWAYS show up (Hexxx and anyone who knows the API can attest to this). Hypothetically I could corrupt the code in some way to steal money but I don't have any access to the code, plus my coding skills aren't too good.

Now, I generally like to make sure nothing untoward has happened before flaming etc, which may have happened a bit in the EBANK channel beforehand. However those people aren't EBANK representatives, they just hang out and chat in there. Banni and Heron 'are' EBANK reps and they handled themselves well.

Anyway seeing as how the person in question strangely doesn't exist any more, the OP has no chatlogs or proof of any sort, and can't answer direct questions, plus has some sort of internal information to show that Ufl and I work together in some way, and of these deals I am apparently handling, I would ask who the OP is. Your subject suggests what happened in the EBANK channel and yet you post your inside information on multiple levels.

Anyway, I wanted to keep this open for a bit before reporting it as I don't want people to think there is some sort of coverup. Anyway the day in question that the OP was speaking about, I was 7 hours from home on holidays and hadn't logged into eve for 3 days.

yeah, this is what amazes me. I;ve now had a couple of people try the "I deposited ISK - where's my shares" approach: but both backed down the minute I offered to find a neutral third-party (with substantial sums deposited by both of us) and verify the xistence or otherwise (obviously otherwise) of said transactions. I'm not sure what's most surprising - that individuals believe we'd throw away our long term projects for small sums (both of mine were sub 1-billion) or that they believe we aren';t aware of what can be demonstrated beyond doubt to a third-party by use of an API key. Either way, this trolling is beginning to get irritating: if somehow has real proof that EBank scams people come tell me about it. And if you have proof Fury Bank scams, go tell Ricdic about it. Both of us will happily chase it up. But the fact of the matter is that if EBank ever scammed I suspect I'd know about it well before some track-record-less noob alt did - and your thread would be buried amongst hundreds of others, not the single one with the topic.

Right now we have three credible banks in Eve. Sorry your's isn't one of them. Deal with it.

EDIT: Just in case the last line wasn't clear, it was aimed at the OP, not at EBank :)

No it wouldn't. If Ricdic wanted to scam he could get far more by means which didn;'t involve someone obviously trying to scam or raise controversy. I don't personally trist Ricidic 100% (and no doubt he doesn't trust me 100%) - but no way he'd be stupid enough to try to scam the way that's described - and for a few pennies. This sort of comment just indicates a lack of understanding of the forums/market from you. Noone but an idiot would scam tiny amounts at the risk of exposure. I don't think Ricdic is a scammer at all (that's NOT a vouch from me) - but even if he were there's no way he's stupid enough to scam the way described in this thread.

Just think about it: how does it make sense? It doesn't.

I've been watching these posts pile up and pile up, and while they were amusing at first, they're starting to get tedious. Reminds me why I fast-forward through CAOD when I have the lack of foresight to go in there.

EBank is not a scam, either collectively or individually. Ricdic has enough personal ISK that scamming would be beyond pointless, to the point of insanity. I don't think many of the serious critics realize how much work has gone into making EBank a reality and keeping it solid and growing. This is a great organization and I'm proud to be a part of it. We're here to make Eve a better place to be, not become another in a long line of scams.

Obviously, this is Eve, and anything could be a scam. But I can say with full integrity that I've seen nothing internally that points to EBank coming close. I've in fact seen quite the opposite, members working hard to make sure this isn't perceived as a scam. I don't know any guarantees we can give anyone beyond our words and our reputation that backs up our words, along with whatever security the game can provide.

In the end, it all comes down to "If you don't trust us, don't deposit". 3% isn't enough to go through this sort of heartburn.

And, not to be a jerk, but we're under no obligation to inform our depositors or the general public how we make ISK or what our balances are. FIN and FIN-U are a complete black hole and I haven't seen anyone scream scam about them... well, ever, tbh. Our efforts to sift through a lot of data to provide numbers that make sense are efforts of goodwill on our part, and because we're all big numbers nerds and like to see them. I do measurements reporting for a living so I know how difficult it is to produce numbers that can actually be useful and make sense. I applaud our programmers for their efforts.

I hope that the mods consign the ad hominem attacks and baseless speculation to the drek pile where it belongs. And having said that, thanks to everyone who has supported us. It's great to have that level of encouragement doing what feels like a thankless job.

A long and boring post to summarize the basic message: you don't like what's being said and you want a moderator to silence anyone that exposes your scam.

I donīt have any money in any bank but i have shares of corps that Ricdic runs. I think he and his gang are honest hard working people. You disagree. Thatīs fine.

Now we all know what you think and have your warning. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If i here you i would stay low profile and when it turns a multi-billion scam you will look like a prophet, visionary, whatever. If you keep pushing things so hard you only look like a crazy fool.

A long and boring post to summarize the basic message: you don't like what's being said and you want a moderator to silence anyone that exposes your scam.

If you've exposed anything besides your irrational prejudice, I haven't seen it. Seriously, you're Geraldo opening Al Capone's vault here.

By the way, I did love this:

What were they doing all together, I wondered. Whenever I read about EBANK, I see many people defending and praising it. I always thought these people were unrelated and came together only by coincidence to defend EBANK because they really had a successful experience with it and believed it was a genuinely good "corporation." Yet all these people were in the same channel together for some reason.

You know, I'm pretty sure that members of BoB, Goonswarm, FIX, KIA, AAA, and other major alliances hang out in channels together. Wonder what their scam is? In fact, I bet there are a number of people reading this forum right now! Including you! We're all in cahoots! Run for the hills!
