00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 02)
OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL renderer string: GeForce 8600 GT/PCI/SSE2
OpenGL version string: 2.1.1 NVIDIA 100.14.19
Board intel dp35dp, intel quad cpu and 4G of ram, NVidia 8600GT 512MB
Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy
Audio sounds like lots of buffer under runs? It is cut into pieces or doesn't play at all. Any setting change inside Eve client doesn't change this behavior.
GL will draw white "hole" that has shape of the gate when approaching a gate and camera angle is correct. That wouldn't matter if angle is very small when this happens but its not. This "angle" problem seems to happen only with gates.
Any ideas how to fix the audio? I would not like to make a lot of tuning to Linux side as everything else (audio ,gl etc.) is working perfectly with other applications.
one note more: Client seems to be stable :-)

If this is the official client, then go to the top of this section and follow lingorm's procedure for the debug stuff...run the game, play with the sound settings.....quit EVE and then bug report the issue, attaching the debug log saved during play. There is NO way to correctly identify this stuff by posting a blurb or so in the forums, although it is handy to do so if others have a work around.
If this is wine, then appdb and report the issue there. If the devs don't see the bug reports, they won't be able to effectively FIX the issues.
