There are some decent players and corps in KOS. I just feel I'd rather work with 200 dedicated players, than 3000 carebears, so we got out yesterday.

Looking for new alliance btw.

rhang doesn't seem to be here to defend himself, SO as his ceo at the time i'd like to say...

when kos was anti ragoon, rhang was the man. he bent over backwards for that alliance, and did a damn good job. he was a 'go to' guy when you needed something done and would help anyone that needed anything, if he could.

then kos went turncoat. the reds went blue and the blues went red. rhang looked out for the ppl he knew. he didn't engineer any exodus. he just helped the rats jumping ship find a place to go. the pilots that left wanted to leave anyways, rhang just tried to pave them a way to stay the course in the war. Not everyone was as ready to cave in to the hoards as demogod was. (#1 toolbox btw)

some would like to stamp him as a traitor, but all he ever did was look out for the ppl he actually saw flying w/ him, not the armchair quarterbacks that (at the end) decided to change standings to save their own personal assets.

rhang: danish murder machine ftw

anywho, this is all way too '06 for me. like the man said, last year was a great time to bring this up Confused

there are quite a few very competent pilots in KOS, like firkragg for example.

but after living down there with them for a few months sadly the truth is 80% of entire membersbase dont know what a missile launcher/turret is at all...

ive personally seen 3 KOS carriers die too a 13-14 man DR gang with ships cruiser sized and down.

ive also seen a KOS home system counting aprox 70-80 pilots all dock up for a 6 man roaming DR gang.

i feel sorry for the few competent pilots flying under this flag tbh.

why do people always flame KOS, is it becoz they achieve things that others havent, is it through jealousy, or hatred, i personally, enjoyed my time in KOS, was around 8 months since i have been there, but while i was there, what i saw was awe inspiring, they had good leadership, still have, and alot of space to roam around in, and as for them returning back to empire, i do believe they just laid dormant for a little while, mustering their forces.
i am persoanlly looking into re-joining KOS with my current corp, but alot of chattin will need to be done.
and i think that many KOS members replies speak for themselves, so you flamers, have 2 choices, put up, or shut up!
much luv

I would like to point out that all the CA members joined KOS which was not many but did give them a pretty big boost.

KOS might have a large amount of carebears but I think most big alliances do. Sounds to me like this alt LV/v guy is just ****ed his allinace failed and died when KOS leadership made the right decisions and pulled through.

Maybe KOS is the trump card down the road in the Goon vs BOB fight. Since everyone writes us off as nobodies.

I'm dismayed at KOS's current recruiting techniques. Seriously, did you have to absorb the macro ratter corps that D-L tossed out? Feel free to check out a character named 'Timeisup' in-game if you don't believe me.

They also tried to invade CDC a little over a year ago at the behest of Smashkill and forgot to put stront in their towers during the POS spam.

Some 15-20 large stront-less towers annihilated in one night by Pure/CDC in perhaps the shortest offensive in Eve history.

I think Smashkill was supposed to help but once they got word of the epic failureboat that is KOS they probably kept their distance.

For a piece of historical lawlz, read the Eve Tribune article "Comedy of Errors." Too lazy to google and link it, find yourselves =P

Having been a former member of KOS, I can say that there are a lot of legit members and good people in the alliance, like Firkragg and Tumbles (hope you guys still remember me Wink).

I simply urge its CEOs to do corp purges of inactive members. I left KOS because the biggest fleet we could muster to attack RISE was about 20 men if I recall correctly. And even then the leadership kept pushing us. 3/4 of the people in that alliance haven't played in months (look no further than Hounds of War [DOGGY]). And a good portion of the members who don't show themselves are the ISK farmers.

But, it's still a decent alliance. I think. Rolling Eyes

Alot of these so called farmers just dont speak english and rat alot, sure they could turn isk into cash but they could also be doing other stuff to. Dont scream farmer at every foreign player, besides they have some pretty insane korean players who fly raven swarms that slaughter everyone- they make BE proud. Also why must every alliance form massive fleets and take space? i dont see their space under attack they could just be chilling in 0.0 and takeing a break from fleet warfare. I see KOS as a great place for a corp to get used to 0.0 as their space is secure and D-R provides a great learning experience of how 0.0 works(i.e. kills stupid ppl).

The irony is that KOS space is secure not because KOS are doing something about it. Should KOS allies forget about KOS for a while and KOS will have no place to call their own in a very short time. How ironic is that most of the players who "rat a lot" don't speak English well, is it a coincidence that most farmers don't speak English well and "rat a lot" too?

ISK Farmers don't pay corp fees, don't pay alliance fees, don't help in ice mining ops, don't contribute to office rental fees, don't join defensive gangs, yet, they get the benefit of 0.0 ratting. They must die, easy as that.
