why? it seemed like a good idea to get rid of the cluttered belts.

When the NPCs are aggro'ed on the cans, they are sitting ducks to ratters is my guess.

I went back to Classic, as so many others have done, and until I get the same, or better performance (8800GTX), I wont be using Premium. Tbh, all that time spent on that could have been soo much better be spent on fixing the existing problem there were before Trinity, instead of creating even more 'features'. What a waste...

Fix the gamemechanics first, remove Lag, then make things look nice. Trinity sofar has made the game unplayable, reduced performance but well, I have to admit, it does look nice... Nice going CCP! Rolling Eyes
Some'at wrong with your hardware, dude. My 7900 GS runs at about the same FPS. Well it did. Having just upgraded CPU from AMD4000+ to AMD 2x6400+ it now runs even faster.

80fps undocking, 160fps warping and in most missions rarely drops below 40fps. Only oddity I've noticed is that the cloud affects seem to **** it off royally. Guristas Spies dropped me down below 20fps until I swung the camera view away to look at a cloud-free area.

Didn't see anything about this in the patch notes. Oversight on the patch notes, or not been addressed yet?

Same here.

Yes, please fix the mining lasers... please. The Gallente colour scheme isn't ideal but some people like it so fair enough but I have only seen complaints about the new strip miner effects.

The following has been added to the Patch Notes. More additions to come in a few minutes.

Linux and Mac Client

  • An issue where closing the Mac EVE client would cause a lockup has been fixed.

  • The Mac client will now use the current OS resolution as a default rather than the hard coded settings.

  • UI Windows should no longer turn inside out.

  • Mac client users can now use Crtl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and paste both in-game and desktop.

  • EVE Voice should now work under Mac OS Leopard. Now ransomers can hear their victims sing "Dancing Queen".

As promised, the following items have been added to the patch notes. Yes, the Jump Clone Implant issue will be resolved as a part of the patch.

  • Drones no longer instantly recharge their shields when recalled to the drone bay

  • A rare case where a jump clone would lose its implants after a jump has been resolved.

  • A situation where modules requiring a specific sovereignty level would break a starbase on system load has been fixed (hotfixed)

  • The name change of the reactor arrays that occured in the Trinity release broke all existing connected Starbase structures. This was resolved as part of a hotfix.

  • The cause of the starbase shield reset at downtime has been found and resolved as part of a hotfix.

  • An error that was preventing the Cynosural System Jammer from operating correctly has been resolved as part of a hotfix.

  • Damaged control towers will no longer cause problems with the loading of a Starbase while the solarsystem is loading.

  • Numerous serverside errors have been resolved. These will have no visible in game effect, but server-side performance has improved.

  • Several issues with display and animation of mining lasers and strip miners have been fixed.

  • The cloaking effect has been tweaked in the Premium Graphics Content client.

  • Gallente ships have been recoloured slightly and are no longer as blue as before.

  • Account names with unicode characters are now fully supported.

Can I ask - is the Salvager supposed to have no visible graphic at all when it's being used? (Premium graphics) I can see its active from the toolbar, but there's no mining/tractor-beam style visual as one might expect. Would be nice if it appeared to do *something*

I think they just wanted to clean up a few cans in highsec, good way to do it, this should be a feature not a bug.

I think they should be ordered to attack cargo containers left around the jump gates. Isn't dumping several cargo containers in the area with recruitment notices a form of spam? Especially since there are other recruitment tool already in place?

I agree that they should leave miner's cargo containers alone that are in asteroid belts though.

Hello all!

The latest patch notes state that "Drones will no longer instantly recharge ......", but I seem to have just the opposite problem. When drones are in the drone bay, they don't seem to recharge at all ?? Yesterday I was on a mission in my Drake, and a couple of drones suffered minor shield damage. I changed ships, and went salvaging/looting for some time, went back. Changed ships again, this time to my Osprey, then I went mining, and after about an hour or so, I changed back to my Drake for another mission. To my surprise, the drones where not recharged, in fact it looked as if their state had not changed at all. When leaving them in space, they started recharging again......

Anybody else observing that behaviour ??

Ok, during corp RnR i made some missions. To my discovery, alot of textures/skins were missing on several NPC structures. Only the "light skin" were applied, and not the base skin. furthermore, some sounds fail to initialize properly to an graphical effect, such as a gatefire.Shocked

Not sure why this particular item on the list stood out, but it did:

Throbbing?

I know it's juvenile, but I just can't help but laugh at that line. Particularly when thinking about the Phobos.

I didnt see a mention of a fix for splash and crash bugs?

I've got an open bug logged (47818) which has been attached to a defect (whatever that means?) by the bug hunting team. I've asked for more information but non has been forth coming so far. This may or mat not be the right place to bring this up but its rather annoying up grading to a machine that is more than capable of running Trinity but not being able to play it due to crashing out before the client is launched.

Will there be a fix going in or is it only a problem local to my machine. Some advice as to what to do next would be appreciated.

Patch Notes are now available. As stated in the first post, additions will be added throughout the weekend as items go through the QA process.

Could an "addition" PLEASE be to finally fix the double DED mails on tower spam?

It's been ages now, we'd really appreciate it....

Has hardware sound been fixed, so its actually works in Vista? CCP broke this months back it’s about time you fixed it. We want hardware sound back.

Why upgrade the sound engine then limit us to software sound?

It's online but we can't go on it because we don't have the current patch which isn't available for download yet. So basically devs are on it now.

At least thats how I believe it goes. :P
