Mining lasers now only show activity once every activation turn (60 Seconds), while they were like a constant stream before Trinity patch. That's hopefully a mistake that will be fixed.. or was it done on purpose?

I'm feeling very lonely now while mining. Already switched on the boring soundtrack - just to get rid of this killing silence! Confused

well i looked on trinity, first i must say about it, sorry i dont like it at all, its simply big nerf party with some "nice" new graphics, and the loveless design some ship types show makes me puking.
i never wanted eve voice inside eve client, i deactivate that from default.
implenting jump freighter as t2 design from freighter was everything else than a good idea, bringing in a t2 ship with attributes i would rather think its t1 is not very clever.
well i have downloaded premium client but have running classic graphics because the premium graphic is making issues and destabilize client. that means only that ccp better had be silent about trinity and work longer on such things before releasing.
i am not one of those that can be caught by some nice shiny graphics and dont look on game mechanics behind them, sorry, trinity is not what is expected, its laggy like hell, client under premium graphics is inflicting several issues, its a nightmare.

i want the old eve engine back...
you better improve that otherwise its not long until you loose player ccp Exclamation

With the increasement of shipbays while reducing shipvolumes at the same time so that carriers can hold max 2 or loads of support,
hasnt the rorquals shipbay restriction to only be able to carry industrial ships become obsolete since even if it could carry combat ships ( for defending a mining op, killing rats, or packing the rigged salvage destroyer) the carrier would be better at a ship ferry cause of a higher jumprange and less fuel use?

One question:

Can the devs explain the total lack of regard to the amarr problem that was acknowledged so long ago by actual devs.. and something that is blatantly obvious to all the playerbase?

ps. Fix it already. Crazy EM resist on armor, insane cap use, stupid ship bonuses wasted on a mediocre weapon platform.. seriously these are the main issues and are simple to fix.

Devs almost only ever refered to a so called "boost patch" aka Trinity 1.1 which will come out somewhere early next year.

That is for solutions of amarr issues, role of assault frigates and mostly all the other stuff that was asked. Of course nothing more specific, just the usual vague hints.

So the main conclusion after 1 hour of dev talk is: "yes, all your questions we are onto it and will fix it with next patch mostly..". Not that they ever promised too much in the past. ^^

And again, I really adore Eve and like CCP, but don't do so much promises when you cannot fulfill the expectations. Or saying the truth like: "Yeah, we are aware of missing roles of assault frigates but so far we have other more urgent problems and don't know when we have time to adress this.". It makes yourself untrustworthy.

Drones are vunerable to guns, missiles, other drones, smart bombs, webbers, etc. In short everything in EVE can touch them. They are the only weapon in EVE that can be destroyed, unlike guns, launchers and other modules. Drones take far longer to reach their target than missiles do and that's why missiles are generally considered a bad PvP investment. Drones have a greater signiture radius than their size would justify to allow a faster lock onto them. Trinity has downgraded some of the ships which specialize in drones by introducing bandwidth restrictions.

So here are my questions. With all that against drones why was it necessary to make them still more vulnerable by taking away the ability to charge their shields quickly by putting them in the drone bay? Is this all part of the desire to limit the ability of Carriers?

If you're going to continue to nerf drones and the ships which carry them in the future, why not just eliminate drones alltogether and give the pilots who've trained in drones a refund on their skill points so that they can be invested in guns and missiles? You'd achieve your apparent goal and stop frustrating and angering a lot of people.

I agree to this. If possable customizing drones may give an edge to them. I would also like to add modules to increase bandwidth, and drone bay expanders that specialise in certian drones. Drones should be as strong as any gunnery weapons.

Maybe something simple.

1. Have option Corp. logo on ship.

2. Able to change color on ships.

Something more complex.

1. The damage detail on this game is just like the orginal game play. I was hoping that the new update would have give more damage details on the ships. Just having one fireball in the back of the ship dose not tell you much besides that you are heavily damaged.

2. Targeting enemy weapons and engiens would be nice. Also the ability to board and take over the ship. What I wouold like to see if the use of other items that are not commonly used.

Something that I belive that is completly advance.

1. Taking over worlds and colonizing them.... It might be stupid but what the heck.

For those who have an NVidia 6600 and receive crashes or white silhouettes of ships while running premium content, try downloading a new Video driver from NVidia's website.

Worked the trick for me.
