Prior to trinity update, I was running two clients at the same time with no issues. I lasted our two war decs running two clients at the same time with very little performance drop. I was getting such a good picture on my duel 24 inch and 19 inch duel monit. set up plugged onto my brand new and fast mac pro. THEN all hell broke loose... Trinity comes out, couldn't even patch the damn thing. I had to download the client several times and start from scratch. I am all for the mac client, and I support the push to move EVE out to our mac community, but guys what the hell happend? Here I sit... having to use my old 8 year old PC with service pack 1 windows running a better EVE than my MAC can do now. Oh by the way.. until i download trinity, my mac never really crashed... Not the case now. Had to use disk utility to clean up the mess Trinity left behind. My luck is such that I can still run one of my three accounts on my old PC. I pay good money to play EVE and Trinity has messed it all up. Please keep working on a patch to really PATCH this broken client.
PS.. if anybody reading this has a workaround to fix the crash to desktop, I would love to try it

Did you really feel you had to make a =new= thread for this, which has been said in a more popular thread, in all caps no less? Sorry, I am also disappointed by the quality of the Mac client, but this is just blatantly not reading anything in the forum and whining away. |
