I understand that deploying new technology is not without growing pains, but the mac client is barely stable, even post-Trinity. Prior to the Trinity expansion my preferred method of running the client on my Mac was via wine (cvs compile). It ran beautifully (~80% of the fps of the client running natively via Boot Camp) and played nicely with OS X, expose included. It had NO random crashes or bugs (other than sound, which didn't bother me

). I could actually rat or engage in minor PVP using the client in this fashion. Today, I downloaded the Trinity patch and it suddenly broke everything (no surprise, really).
I bit the bullet and decided to try the "official" OS X client from CCP. It installed and loaded without a hitch. I thought all was going well until it loaded into game. The FPS was less that 1/10 of what I had experienced with wine and there were significant graphics glitches, including full-screen tearing and missing textures. Furthermore, the game locked up to a black screen within 10m of booting it. The instability lead me to uninstall the client within 10m of installing it. I understand the Mac client is new, but it's barely Alpha quality, let alone Beta or Release grade.
CCP, please don't abandon your Mac users now!
