Not sure if anyone has seen this one, but one of my ships up and disappeared from inside a POS field. Petition has been opened, but no response yet.

It makes my situation worse, since I am trapped at a 0.0 POS with no ship viable for 0.0 travel, and cannot clone jump out since there has been no affirmative update on the Jump Clone/Implant issue either way.

Hi not sure if this is a problem that is known but here goes.
The only problem I have encountered is that the starmap is a big white bright blur when I turn on the bloom. when I turn it off the starmap displays fine :)
Hope this is useful.

Ok, forgive me for not using the search function.

The MOST annoying trinity bug to me so far is simple:

When I open a hangar window, one or both of the following effects happen.

1. All items in the hangar sort into a vertical column on the left hand side of the window. Resizing the box snaps them back to the boundaries of the window.

2. Hangar initially appears empty with a scroll bar. Items are at the bottom with a huge blank space above. clicking the scroll bar once will bring items back, in either a proper configuration or as described in 1.

This occurs while in a station. Every time. The corrective actions on each window last until the station is re-entered (exiting and then re-entering).

Using premium, latest 163.75 nvidia drivers, on both the 6600 GT and 6200 GT.

Oh, and the flicker issue that has been mentioned is not affected by upgrading drivers. It still occurs on my system with the above configurations.

Jump bridges... god this patch kills them. they need to test sovernty on the test servers. better yet... pay real game testers to test these major patches.. don't make the paying clients do all the testing for their software.

Today i flew to a pos and saw the jumpbridge anchored.. shoulda been online. tried to online, no option. I unanchor the bridge now i cant reanchor it. it's still labled anchored. i get every option on right click from scoop, to unanchor, to online, to link but no anchor. so what are my options now that i have a 100k m3 mod i cant just scoop or reanchor.

moved another pos today and minutes after a jump bridge was onlined it appered anchored.

Has anyone got a fix for the Trinity widescreen bug yet (where icons are not centered on the object) other than running the game in non-widescreen mode?

Someone reported running with shadows switched off allows correctly centered widescreen play. I haven't confirmed it myself yet.

Ok thanks. Not an ideal solution I suppose, but at least it's something.

3 desync in 3 hours! It lead me to hang on gate in zeroes for 40 min. This is a wonder that nobody pod me. So, EVE is almost unplayable now. It's too risky to play until next patch.

Believe me, for a game of its size, EVE's patching is a walk in the park compared to the virtual Chernobyl I've seen some patches do in other games.

The server is down for 1 hour everyday between 11.00 and 12.00.

You posted at 11.30 so I'm assuming you are trying to connect at this time?

Bounties are paid in batches now a short time after the kill, rather than instantly.

I know programming enough to know that a single misplaced character can make your entire work do exactly the opposite of what it was intended to do. Test Drive Unlimited had the same mishap - a missing backslash and boom goes boot.ini. To those who formatted because of that, I say tough ****. There are people out there with their own superstitions about computers and I won't even begin to try to help them because those who end up into trouble sought after it in 99% of cases. They're the kind of people who will type rm -rf / into a console without a second thought because you said so.

Even worse, try installing STALKER. This one goes ahead and overwrites the DirectX core files with its own house files. Problem: it caused my graphics card to do something it shouldn't have done, and physically damaged it.

Personal experience: I once forgot to uncomment a line of code in a program at work. The result: an infinite loop of requests to the database and a server crash. Oops!

Programming isn't easy. Programming a commercial software is even more challenging. Programming a game - very few are those who don't quit before having even a polygon display on the screen.

I know this is probably said but I have to post it to show that its still a problem, and to ask a question. I had a red shade on ships, lights, and textures. CCP Tech said I should try useing 3rd party Drivers. and IT WORKED!

but...

Now I lost my textures when I undock. The ships and Stations are white and stay that way even when I dock. I wanted to ask this question in the Live Dev Blog, but it never hit me till after it ended.

Why are we having so many problems with the new graphic Engine? Is it because it never came up till after release? Or was there an "Oops" In the coding?

CCP please reply back to me on this question. All I seen in the Live Dev blog Forum were questions about the game content and why people hate it and saying "FIX IT!"

Thank you.

Not only should CCP hire you as a coder, I think you should be in their customer service department too.

How about issues with drone AI.

I've been doing missions in a Domi post patch and my heavy drones are driving me nuts. The new icon is great and the AI is vastly improved but I've noticed a consistant problem in the way Heavy Drones behave.

Namely if they have to travel more than about 40km to their target they will get nice an close and then switch to an alternative. I presume that they are assuming that the target was unreachable for some reason so they try to find something else. Trouble is that when the next nearest target is also a long way away the drones get part way there and switch back.

I watched my drones approach within 10km of their target 5 times in a row, bouncing back and forward, without shooting anything. This makes some missions next to impossible to complete quickly with drones - Recon (1 of 3) against blood raiders in particular as all the BS's orbit at 50km.

Unable to get premium graphics to work. Invariably crashes (recoverable) or locks up (needs a hard reset of the machine to recover) after a few seconds after entering space, or immediately after I press either mouse button after having entered space. The station environment load and works fine with premium enabled, but woe is stability if I undock with that enabled.
Sometimes Windows pops up with a error report about Eve.exe having a error in blue.dll or trinity.dll.

Unchecking the premium graphics checkbox lets me run the upgraded client, but without the benefit of the graphics revamp.
However, my rig should be able to run it.

I'm having problems getting the premium content to work. When I boot the game up, the textures flicker and the object is mostly transparent.

Another issue I am having is the random lock-ups that people have been talking about. Yesterday I was in a complex and it crashed 3 times in the course of 15 minutes. I have to hard boot each time this happens, and nearly lost my ship.

A few other issues I am having are minor ones.. such as the jukebox just randomly stopping. Also, when looking at the character screen when I move my mouse over the skill in training it doesn't show the time left. It does it if I open the menu right when I log on, but after that it doesn't have any mouse-over function. EVE voice doesn't work for me or any of my friends either. It's very scratchy and broken up, but it might just be some sort of lag due to our computers and not EVE.

My machine is top of the line and should be able to run the new engine with ease, so I am pretty disappointed that I'm missing out on it.

My specs:
2gigs ram
Intel Duo Core processor 2.2 ghz
ATI x1800 256mb

The x1800 supports shader model 3 so I don't know where to begin trying to figure this out. I've got all the drivers updated on my machine.. I've reinstalled EVE several times. I've adjusted every attribute that might affect the textures. Nothing.. I'm at a loss.
