Hi!

Been playing for nearly a year now, but still dont understand why my main just undocked from a station in low sec, (hes -10.0 and flashy red). He gets jumped by 3 recons. I log on my alt and warp to 100km only to find that the 3 thugs/hulagans/scumbags shooting my main ARENT flashy red to my alt, so theres nothing he can do.

My alt was in the same corp/gang/fleet.

Is this right?

If so, why? If not, why not.

K thx bye xxx

AFAIK that only works when you steal from their cans, not when they steal from yours... ugh

Oh right, and outlaws can't get help from their gang. Confused

Your main is outlaw, why should the 3 Recon Pilots get flagged to your Alt, same Corp or not...

another question

I have a kill right on a guy called "dude".

I meet dude in high sec and engage him. Dude shoot back to me. Can a corpmate or a gangmate help me to shoot nasty dude?

Because that's the way it is supposed to work - shooting an outlaw in a player corporation should flag the aggressors to the entire corp.

CCP are aware of the bug and it should be fixed SOON™

Since when is it the way it's supposed to work? I've been an outlaw for a long time and never heard this before.

If its true, its a huge boost to Outlaws IMO.

the knowledgebase has, for as long as I can remember (15 months of piracy), always said that it should work this way.

I've been pushing for it to get looked at ever since we founded TBR, and hopefully given the response in the thread linked in my previous post it will be shortly.

Thanks for the info. Pirates/Outlaws have been getting the short end of the stick for a very long time, so I'm just used to every game mechanic designed to go against us.

If CCP does fix this, it would be huge.

Edit:

Attacking an outlaw who is a member of a player corporation

Player A attacks Player B who has security status of -5.0 or lower = Player A gets aggression flagged to Player B's corporation.

You learn something new everyday i have always been under the impression in my four years of play that an outlaw was fair game to anyone without any comeback, and having said that i hope the knowledgebase was a bug and not the game mechanic as this would be a HUGE boost to outlaws. i'm an outlaw btw Very Happy
