Alright. I downloaded a fresh copy of the client via the eve-online download page. Wiped the Eve stuff out of preferences. Wiped the TG plist.
And I still received the same error when attempting the patch. Even if the client I downloaded is prepatched and up to date, receiving this error makes no sense.
Hey CCP, I love Eve so far and plan to subscribe indefinitely, but you and TG have got to understand that Mac users, even those of us comfortable in a terminal, are used to things just working properly. Someone please advise.
I now have confirmation that my patch has been unsuccessful from the "About Eve" menu in OS X. This is now a 100% clean install. I have no idea why the patch fails. Someone please help.
