First of all, i would like to thanks CCP! you have done a great job. the new models are looking ozom!
particularly the stations are looking amazing! ...breathtaking!

after some testing with the new client, ive found some glitches.
so, i want to post some pics of this what i found.


Charon texture is changing while moving the camera-angle:
Linkage1, Linkage2, Linkage3, so i dont know wich is the correct one.


Naglfar in stations:
Linkage1, Linkage2, u havnt enough space to move ur camera around, so in my mind the station should be a bit bigger.


3500mm Quad on Naglfar:
Linkage1, Linkage2, looks like the cannons are red in blue space and grey/blue in red space ^^


Shiny/unshiny ship textures/skins:
Linkage (shiny), Linkage (unshiny), both screens are great but the belicose looks a bit unshiny/matt.
more than this ship looks like this, the most of the caldarian ships lokks a bit unshiny. maybe an lightning issure. so i dont know.


missing cloak skin: there is no model after jumping or if u are cloaked.




i cannot fly all ship or have seen the ships. if u found some glitches/bugs feel free to post them here so we have i small collective of bugs here.

Faces missing on the vagabond, something broken
As you can see, there is some stuff missing. You can look into the inner of the vagabond because frontfacing polygons are missing or at wrongly drawn and then you can just look through it ofc, because the backfaces are culled. Would have bugreported it already, but bugtracker is buggy ( can't log in there ) Wink

Hi, don't wanna start a new thread about this... so I'll just say it here... I switched off antialising in my graphics card settings... and switch on HDR in EVE... now the client wont work.. it opens but stays minimised.. if i try to maximise it shows like it is doing that.. but still nothing happens... So i am looking for some sort of eve settings file to edit it in notepad so that the client will start with HDR off.

1.Nighthawk when docked without station environment loaded was zoomed in too far using premium client. All I could see was a mess of metal.

2.Toggling trails off from on while in space seems to cause strange affects at first (random trails appeared all over the screen even though I was stationary). After a while this stopped but the trails were still present when the ship moved until session change.

3.Graphics are sometimes delayed. Mostly this just means that they don't render for several seconds but sometimes you get a white block (probably some kind of mask) in their place. Worst case I docked and nothing rendered. I went and put the kettle on and when I came back I was still looking at a blank, grey, screen.

All of this was with an NVidia 7900GS and XP Home.

cloaking is bugged too. when i cloak, my ship disappears complete and all i can see is a small 'glitering' square next to where the ship should be. This square when i uncloak, sometimes the ship remains invisible allthough cloak is off. (this not a lag effect btw)

Guys, please include some extra information so the devs know exactly what you're talking about. It might help them to pinpoint the problem faster. Here's some rules I devised for a similar thread:

  • Include a screenshot linked via a URL, externally. Do NOT use the image function.

  • State when the glitch arises, whether it is always apparent or you do something to initiate it, or if it seems random.

  • Include the Singularity build number that this bug is found with. If it did not appear in a previous build, please state so.

  • Include the following relevant specs: Basic computer information, your graphics card model, current driver version, and operating system.

  • Describe the glitch in words rather than just posting the screenshot itself.

Here are my contributions so far. The first one is old but the last two should be new.

  • The Chimera has a graphical glitch in which the side of the ship that is hit most by a light source (ie. the sun) turns an ugly black color. The seemingly correct look for the Chimera is found here where as the glitch can be referenced here and here. Screenshots taken on an AMD x2 4800+ system with a GeForce 7900GTX PCI-e card running Forceware 163.71 and Windows XP Professional w/ DirectX 9.0c. Bug is apparent since the first Singularity content patch and is found in any situation without provocation from the user.

  • Since Singularity build 44267, fighters have lost their windows. A screenshot of the defect is available here. The previous build had windows correctly displaying. This issue is readily apparent on all fighter cockpits and the screenshot is taken on an AMD x2 4800+ system with a GeForce 7900GTX PCI-e card running Forceware 163.71 and Windows XP Professional w/ DirectX 9.0c. It would be rather mean to keep these poor pilots subject to the cold vacuum of space.

  • A certain Matari station model makes for a messy undock scenario. On Tranquility, the ships are supposed to come out of the pipe, but as seen here, all ships now come out of the station below the pipe. This looks like an issue with all clients since the Singularity content patch.

The little animated antenna? on the erris just shows up blue, no texture on it. The catalyst does not have the same problem.

That "square" is probably a chat invite window Wink Hold ctrl + tab to check if you have any chat invites

(work around to get the chat invite open: Hold ctrl + tab, and CLICK with your mouse on the "chat invite" item in that list. This should get the invite wider then the square. now attach a window underneath it. Hold shift, and drag the bar where they are attached down. This should pop up the invitation window.)

When I opened a cyno for a friend and he jumped into system he just plopped in with no effects at all (but he claimed to have seen the jump effects on his side).

Update: After some more testing it seems like there is an jump out effect but not a jump in effect. Also I can't say for sure but when I set up a cyno at a gate and jumped to it it looked like the gate activated.

Which isn't a sqare where your ship should be, neither is it a normal square that isn't 'glitering'

The convo bug thing displays only the small corners from a window, which have lighning effects when you turn your camera etc, explains the "glitering" Smile

It seems that all effects only show up once

ex. turret effect only on first shot, then nothing until it is deactivated and then reactivated

it may also be caused by moving the camera, as sometimes everthing was fine until i rotated/zoomed in.

I was looking at the NPC ships and found that skin is missing on "Drone Controller" Battleships. the Frig and cruiser size i looked at looked very nice ..thx CCP.

Drone Controller Battleship = No Skin !!! Shocked

And yes i can confirm that i have looked at my Chimera..and i get same shadow black spots BUG. Crying or Very sad

A small graphics bug on the Cerberus. It's missing some navigation spikes from it's model, so you got the blue lights floating in space.

Heres a screenshot of the Cerberus and the T1 Caracal for comparison.

Station issue:


undocking with Caps from this stations will speed you up to 800m/s and bump you 15km away from the station.

exitpoint at this stations is wrong/to low. you'll come out here.

blurred textures on Scorp. if you compare the textures of the Caldari Shuttle (wich looks awesome in my mind),
with the textures of the Scorpion you'll see that the Scorp looks blurred. the settings are same on both screens.

is this a bug or a glitch? will this fixed?

Engine effects sometimes fail to occur. I can't find any pattern or trigger.

Stargate jump effects also sometimes fail to occur.

Cloak effects never occur.

The model for the Vengeance is totaly missing atm. If i hop into a vengeance it gets stuck there. Relogging is nearly impossible, need to to the shortcut to undock key trick to get out of the station, and outside the station there still isn't any model visible. Redocking also gets stuck again, probably due to the model not loading properly...


Edit, i just experienced the same with the cyclone... Model in space loads fine tough, but hopping from a hurricane to a cyclone seems to be causing problems somehow..

sometimes while undocking from stations u make a 1080 degrees or more barrel role

exit point for one gallente station model (intaki police station in fd-) is misplaced

the ishkur model has a bug
if u look at the roof of it from the side horizontal you see the little i can only describe it as button which is in the middel of the roof if you look from above at it is 5-10 pixel above the roof

the thanatos looks like a piece of sh+t

Have this problem too, no one of your linked screens is the correct texture for the charon ... have this problem too in the station, if my charon docked ...

i posted this in another topic, but this one is better as its got it all in one place, so sorry for cross posting but this is a better place for it.

The bug reporting system is currently down, i would appriecate it if others coudl try to reproduce this.

when you view another ship in the distance, it is reprisented usually by a symbol, (usually a square). at distance, with shadows ON this square does not appear on the ship you are looking at but below it (below the model).

when you turn off shadows this stopps happening and the square always displayed correctly on the ship.

its also worth noting that has something to do with how far away you are and your zoom levels, as if you zoom right in on ships the square will move with the zoom process and the further in you go the more it will rectify the issue.

i have screen shots, but will have to upload them tomorrow.

with the shadows off it all works fine.

heop this makes sense, will bug it when the system is back up.

I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned, but's still happening with the newest build, so I'll remmention it...


Cloaked ships disappear! no cool looking ghost model, just plain invisible

Edit 1: And the Minmatar stargates are lit up with neon again! I reset my graphics settings, still does the same thing... screenshot (including my invisible cloaked nemesis coming soon)

I've had the same problem and can't login anymore right now...
I've tried submitting a bugreport, but I can't login there either... :P
I get stuck on the screen that says "Entering Station" but the background just remains dark.
Too bad, 'cause I was gonna devote my day to more bughunting \o/

/edit: just found a little trick to login.
When the "Entering Station" screen pops up, press [ESC] and disable the Premium Content, then restart the clinet.
This will force the client to go back into the old rendermodels, and you can switch ships again.
To see more shinyness, just grab an other ship and enable the premium content again. :)

The textures on the upper side of the "wings" from my thanatos r looking not as sharp as the textures on the two "pipe-like" parts.

After downloading the premium graphics I now get a white graphic for my ships, stations & star gates. When I am docked, the ships are beautiful. Following are a few screenies, and a link to a DXDiag run.

I looked through the last 5 pages here, but didnt find this reported (or i over looked it) I would love to get the graphics working properly though.
