From what I hear, the Polaris Legatus is very well able to fire at something with its single turret. Which is said to have stats similar to that of the ship itself, btw. Not to mention that its pilots could probably just heal-zero you if they wanted to  |

actually, it cant fit any weapons (maybe a smartbomb)
though, you would need about 520833 dps to break its tank... forget and a bit more if they fit a LSE 2 on... |

alan its been reported that these have some kind of dev or gm only weapon on it that basically one hits anything that it fires at, I believe some people tried to mess with one of these a while back and after a bit of it the guy shot at some of em.
may have been on test server though so not sure.
it doesnt really rely on a turret slot or launcher slot to make it work is all I am trying to say.

ive tryed to kill one of these on the test server some time ago... eveyrone at FFA couldnt do that and that was over 100 guys. The polis frigs shields hardly twitched.... 0.o |

2.45(6250 / 3) / 0.01 = ~510,000 DPS of any damage type, just on its shields.

Given the fact that they cannot be locked, you would have to smartbomb them to death.
Given the fact that smartbombs affect all targets in the area of effect, a lot of poddings would occur.
And, considering that anyone who can fly a Polaris ship in the first place probably has all skills 5'd, 500k/s is a fairly conservative estimate.
The sheer amount of smartbombing bses/titans/bombs required to blow up a Polaris Legatus would crash the cluster long before the frigate reached 95% shield. Even if the combined processing power were focused on one grid, in one system, and assuming everyone used the same smartbombs and tanked that damage type for minimum ship deaths, I'm all but certain TQ doesn't even have enough muscle for this. |

I stand corrected :o multiply by (1.25 / (0.75 * 0.80)) for maxed out shield skills and a T2 Shield recharger and you get 10,625,000 dps tanked That's a impressive tank right there. |
