I figured I would make a new post since my troubles are a little different than this thread.

OpenGL passes
3D accel, glxgears opens, cranks out a lot of RPMs, closes, and then says it failed -.-
POSIX passes
Copy Protection passes
OSS fails
ALSA passes

if you want the info from all those files listed in the 'before you post' post I will put them up... but didn't want to waste a lot of room

cpu: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz
cpu_ghz: 2.13
memory: 2009
videocard_manufacturer: NVIDIA Corporation
videocard_type: GeForce 7600 GT/PCI/SSE2
videocard_ram: 256
agp_aperture_size: 508
videocard_driver_version: 2.1.1 NVIDIA 100.14.19
soundcard: C-Media PCI CMI8738-MC8 (model 68) at 0xcc00, irq 1
soundcard_driver: ALSA Version 1.0.14
machine_bitness: 64
kernel: 2.6.20-gentoo-r8
x_version: Xorg Version 1.3.0
distro: Gentoo Base System release 1.12.9
GUI version: eve-000066

as for the other error...wine client perror:0: write/writev: Bad file descriptor
I took the advice of Dorukusai and actually started DBUS
however my system didn't hang, It came back with the same error:
err:client:receive_fd FD went missing; attempting recovery
wine client perror:0: write/writev: Bad file descriptor

And why is my 3D accel erroring out o.O I do 3d graphics in wine and native things fine.....

solved. apparently, wine does not need emul-linux-x86-sdl cedega does.

Please add this to ebuild dependency list for Gentoo. I will find the thread in the gentoo forums on this and post my findings as well.

However, it still shows I fail the 3D test. The game runs....but that just bugs me....

Edit, I tried to confirm my suspicions by unmerging said package, and it still ran. That was the only thing I did since the error. I am clueless, unless it left a file, symlink or something. Neutral Sorry this might not be much help to others with this error.
