I'd like to be able to copy and paste text from EVE chats and mails, etc. to external applications, but it doesn't seem to be working; I'll select the text, right-click and click "Copy," and I can then paste within the client, but if I go outside the client the clipboard isn't carried over.

I was wondering if this is simply a quirk of the system, or if there's an available workaround.

its a limitation.....er....BUG with the cedega client. your number pad is another issue. BUG REPORT THIS STUFF FOLKS!

The copy/paste problem has been a cedega issue for a LONG time (pre-eve client), and has NOT been a problem with wine for a long time.

What TG have got to understand about the EVE community, and that of "corp/guild" oriented MMO's in general is that we live and breathe with external web based tools to supplement what we have within our game universe. (EVE more than most.)

The copy/paste in/out of game may seem small potatoes in the scheme of a GAME, but for an MMO it is very crippling if its NOT available.

I believe the numpad issue is resolved with today's patch.
