I did that, and the setup succeeded on my Debian box (I was using the .deb package and chose the single user option). Well, the setup only
. If I try to run EVE, I get the splash screen for about a minute, and nothing else. No Login, no errors. When I try and run it from a console, it says nothing, just exits without errors after checking for updates:

I know, this is quite close to the stated minimum requirements, but I already had EVE running earlier on this box with cedega, so it should be fine.
All cedega tests succeeded, installation worked fine, it just doesn't show the login screen ... Does anyone have EVE running on Debian 4.0? Any ideas what is wrong here?
