Had the same problem. I changed my password to only standard letters. After that I had no problem to log back in.

The keyboard ingame is all wierd, if you type what is supposed to be a "?" the outcome will be something else...all screwed up.

You need to get in contact with CCP about this. The Mac client is not a "native" mac program, but rather uses other software to emulate a Windows environment, and causes a few problems.

It's also not been out very long (came out today afaik) and so not many people here will have the experience with it necessary to help you.

Yeah..

Those letters you are talking about.. It's keyboard lanuage settings. Check if that emulation software thingy got any settings for it.

There will never be a "real" Mac client as that would require CCP to rewrite the entire thing. But they will continue to try and improve their current cider client. Just get in contact with them. They may be a little slow sometimes (especially with all the people whining because it's patch day) but they are often pretty helpful with problems Smile

I spoke to the Transgaming gurus, what I got from them is that dead keys are not yet supported. For mac not using dead keys you'll have to select a US, canadian or Italian keyboard layout since those do not use any dead keys.

Ola! Solved!
Problem waz (i think) in changed lanquage order after Tiger-Leopard upgrade (as for Cider :) OSX works in seted order).
Steps to fix:
- uncheck all languages in International control panel (all tabs) and check US Eng as main and only one
- reboot
- set up back your languages in Sys prefs - Intl - Lang and ... - ... - Language
- set up back your languages in Sys prefs - Intl - Lang and ... - ... - Input menu
- (reboot and) set up back your languages in Sys prefs - International - Formats tab - Your_Region

Now works in up to 10 random languages with commas and other symbs

... sorry i must to finish one mission... bye :)

The "there is no right click mouse button on mac" is a myth. You can use right click on the trackpad by just tick enable in system preferences. The best thing is you use two fingers on pad and click mouse button, wola you have a right click. Much better than the left track pad clickin on the pc which allways drove me crazy. Anotherthing, the trackpad on mac is bigger in size than on pc. Makes things easier....

Mac rules forever..... just get used to it. Very Happy

Post with your main! Kinda funny to PC bash with an alt. Macs rule like 3.5% of forever.

Ferrari rules more? o_0

Back to subj. Leopard unpatched. But dont have this problems. Cider have. As WMplayer, Office2004 and much more.

I can use ALL of shown in this picture (upperlinked) in my macbook but faster and more usable, than on dualcore 6700 with windows. And i DONT WANT use windows after mac. Temporary, i must.
