I have searched several NPC Labs and they are all full and will be for weeks.. Can someone offer some suggestions as what I can do to get a BPO researched (Material) ?

Easiest: Put the BPO into the queue and wait.
Fastest: Buy a BPO that is already researched.
Middleground: Contract with a corporation that owns and operates their own labs.

ya, that can be a bit annoying alright,
sometimes u will just have to wait in queue for research it could take a month but well, its either that or set up a research POS, or join an alliance who has access to an outpost with a research facility

apart from the above choices there is little to nothing u can do, but place ur BPO in queue and wait it out

if u dont understand the queue process:
select BPO for research
go to research tab
select a research lab say 30 day queue
and hit ok button, your BPO/BPC will be added to the end of queue
do not expect the queue to disappear, there is always another 2000 people wanting that research lab

hope that helps

If you're researching yourself, it would help to train Metallurgy, that way, once you get past the queue and actually start the researching part, you can squeeze more ME's out of the 30 day window you have the bpo in that ME slot.

Just a note: Skills affecting a research/manufacturing job are calculated when you click the Accept Quote button to queue up the job. Any skills you learn after the job is queued/started are NOT applied.
