Posted - 2007.10.27 02:58:00 - [2]

not a big deal at this point... I only paid about 100k for the drones I can't get to respond to me... but in the future why pay 20millisk if this is an unresolved problem...

thanks once more.

Get within 1500 meters, right click on them and hit "scoop to drone bay"

Unless you dont know where they are, then you are pretty much SOL

To expand a little on what Kaemonn said:

When you leave your drones in one area and fly away, be it warping normally or emergency-warp (which is what happens automaticly when the client crashes), you lose the link to them and they stop doing whatever it is they were doing before (no controller = no action). To get that link up and running again, you must first scoop them to your dronebay and re-launch them. After that they will work like before. But be aware that anyone can scoop your drones and launch them for their own use, if you stay away for too long.

If you emergency-warp you will almost always come back to the same area you were in when you crashed and is close to your drones. But if you, as an example, warp out of a mission area, forget to scoop your drones, fly to the agent and complete the mission, then you will have a hard time finding back to your drones again. Unless you probe for them or happen to have a bookmark, there is no way of getting back to the same spot by chance and the drones will hanging out there, lost to you.

Hope that helps you Wink

Edit: Oh, and it's not a bug. It's actually working as intended Shocked
