Extinction was an awesome follow up. I really don't know what you could have been expecting, given the first two movies, but the jumpsuited zombies in the crate in the middle of vegas were hilarious, and the ending is something that absolutely has to be seen. Olivera smoking in the truck at the end was completely perfect. I mean, sure it's not Citizen Kane, but you should have gone into the theater expecting something like bio-dome, and if you didn't I don't know what first two movies you saw.

I expected... evolution, which is strange when it's clearly labelled Extinction, of both mankind and good scripts it would seem.

I assume you were led to this conclusion by the amazing development of the characters from the first movie to the second movie. In the first movie, lasers chop a guy up. The series matures into the second movie where milla jovovich fights six lickers with her motorcycle after smashing it through the wall of a church

There's always hope. Hope that the producers see that there's a market for zombie movies and makes something of it, not just stick it in the pop-bin churning out the same tired concept time and again. Agreed the genre is sorta limited being some being zombies and the rest not wanting to be but ffs I can write a better script with my left hand, being on acid while simultaneously taking a dump.

The resident evil movies have never been about "script" or "plot" or "cohesiveness" or "any semblance of narrative sense". They're Half-Naked Milla Jovovich with knives, the movie.

My girlfriend and I went to see Resident Evil 3 at the cinema over a week ago and I still can't work out if it was a good film or now.

The action sequences are good, her crazy mind powers are awsome -but it's a zombie film and not a telepathic super hero film and that is the part that makes me think it's bad.

Overally I enjoyed it so I must say it was a good film, however I will not be buying it on DVD.

Now my girlfriend wants to watch Saw 4, and I will not sdee that.

That alone makes any movie worth it. Every movie I've seen her in has never been great but the fact that she's generally naked within the first ten minutes makes me watch em anyways.

OK, ive been to see it and its better than I thought.

I have to say, it was far far better than War of The Worlds (Cruise and Speilburg version). Now theres a film that rates with Plan X from Planet 9 as one of the worst films EVER made. Goes to show, give an American film maker unlimited funds, top notch actor (even if he is a complete pr*ck) and a book or idea of European descent and they cant cope with it. Makes a mess every time.

But RE3 .. its ok, really.. go watch it or buy the DVD, it aint as bad as Sharkbait says.

truth is, the movie is enjoyable, BUT, don't go watch it thinking that you are looking at the greatest wonder of all time and then some.

Fifth Element was pretty good for action but even it still had it's cheesyness with the McD advertising, some of the scenes and outfits and Chris Tucker (not saying he did a bad job just overplayed the character a little).
And of course Mila starts off with medical bandages over the absolute necessities but otherwise naked. Shocked

EDIT: I must say Zorg is probably the coolest badguy of all time.
