Grismar.net has a nice route planning tool that lets you exclude certain systems from autopilot. Jita, for instance, with it's 1100 people in local, which I'd rather avoid when Jita is not my destination. You can't hardly go anywhere in Forge, Citadel or Lonetrek without AP wanting to route through Jita. Another is Rancer, which I'd just as soon go around without having to exclude all of lowsec from the route. This would be a nice feature to have in the ingame autopilot. |

Always wanted this feature, always thought it was hidden away somewhere since it was so obvious.

Most other games (Escape Velocity for instance) allow you to manually shift-click the route you want.
Or just have it re-route around busy systems(check box in the autopilot with a slider like avoiding low sec systems now is.) |

/signed. We need more customization on setting up map routes. |

Perhaps you could have a tickbox over every system in the map and u just untick the systems you want to avoid. |

They don't want to have to think to play Eve. They just want the autopilot to think for them. |

Can't see it being a major thing; AP still drops you off 15km from the gate and tries to route around traffic advisories/user settings. So... Autopilot becomes GPS satnav :) |

A nice addition to this feature would be that you just add names of places you want to avoid and the client remembers it, so that you don't have to type in "avoid these places" on each use of the AP. |

I want a route control tool that doesn't require me to open the map to change where I'm going. Let me see my whole route in a window, and add/change/rearrange waypoints with a mouse drag. |

/signed This would be more useful than a simple avoid, and would really add more depth to one of the most important aspects of the eve universe, travel. |
