I am just curius...With my current setup, I have 2 Adaptive Nano Platings to increase the ships armor Resistances, A Mark I CPR, A Medium Polarized Armor Regenerator, A Damage Control 1 Unit, Fixed Parallel Link Capicator (Active Cap Battery Regen), and an Afterburner....

My question is 1) Should I go with 3 Medium Hybrid Turrets and 2 Small Hybrid Turrets incase of Frigs being I am still mainly on L1 missions anyway, and 2) What can I do to increase my ships ability, or have I studied up well enough and have it set up pretty well for now?

Oh just so you know, I am using atm pretty much what I have available for my skill points. Evemon has me training my learning skills first but I had to go off base some to get some of my combat skills up so I wasent just sitting around training all the time.:)

Sounds OK except for adaptive plating. Use energized membranes to protect against NPC specific damage (they also come in adaptive variety) or hardeners which require capacitor to run. A mission running set up would be something like this:
5 x 150mm 'Scout' I Accelerator Cannon railgun (long range ammo) *for level 1 and 2 missions use small railguns, not medium
1 x Y-S8 Hydrocarbon I Afterburners
patterned web and medim brief cap injector, or barton/fixed cap rechargers
1 x inefficient armor repairer or better
the rest of low slots used for NPC specific damage type hardeners or energized membranes or a PDU/RCU if you need more grid to fit the guns
5 x Hammerhead drones

To increase you ship's ability you should train relevant damage and tanking skills at well as skills that will allow you to fit tech II items to your ship and use tech II drones.

Sorry it took so long to replay, I got busy IRL....What are Energized Membranes and what do they fall under on the market?

Are you talking about like, the Basic Energized Adaptive Nano Plating and such stuff like that? If so I use one of each of those types....I get the penalty but one increases all resists by 16.25% and hte other by 14% though with the penalty second one on increases by there something better I should be using or a specific damage resistance type or something>? Keep in mind this is only for missions atm.:)

If you look up a missioning guide, or you recognize the NPC type, then you can fit specifically for the bad guys you'll be up against. So you could take an energized thermic if you'll be up against thermal, and so on.

Missioners don't usually carry damage controls - you want to be out of the mission before you take any structure damage. Consider a power diagnostic or magnetic field stabilizer instead.

With the energized membranes there are two tiers. The basic tier, which give lesser resistance bonuses with easier fitting requirements, and the standard tier which give better resistances for heavier fitting requirements.

The damage control is spot on for gallente ships, and for working with lower skill levels. The resistance boost to your hull will make the difference when you get in over your head in a mission, and the armor and shield resistances do not have a stacking penalty applied to them.

Depending on what your skill level for medium and small hybrid turrets are you will very likely see better performance from small hybrid guns on everything but range.

I suggest that you take a week or so break from the learning skills to get your combat helper skills up to level 3 or 4.

Also, take some time to read through the threads pointed to by the Ship Index sticky post in the Ships and Modules forum. Most of them are quite informative, both about what is "best" but sometimes good discussions of alternatives.
